Die einen nennen ihn Jörn, die anderen Sommersonnenwende. Seit kurzem hört er auch auf Papa. Der 33-jährige DJ, Produzent und Däddy kann bereits auf eine fabelhafte Karriere zurückblicken. Angefangen hat es auf den Straßen Berlins. Openairs und Raves haben Sommersonnenwende zu dem gemacht was er heute ist. Aus diesem Drive schloss er sich dem Label Schwerelos Berlin an, bei dem er nun die Fäden in die Hand genommen hat.
Manche sagen, es sei Space-Techno, manche sagen, es sei Acid oder HardGroove. Wie auch immer man es nennt, es fühlt sich an wie eine väterliche Umarmung.
Alles, was wir wissen, ist, dass Sommersonnenwende auf einer Mission ist, den Dancefloor zum kochen zu bringen. Packt die Sportschuhe ein, es wird schnell.

Here’s my warm-up set from Der Weiße Hase: recorded live on the Anne Bar Floor.
I had the pleasure of opening the night, starting things off with some minimal grooves and laid-back tech house to gently set the tone. From there, I gradually built up the energy ... adding more bass, playful tech house gems, and shifting through different shades of techno.

The idea was to create a dynamic journey: floating through rhythmic textures, atmospheric layers, and darker, deeper vibes ... all while preparing the space for the night ahead.

Thanks to everyone who came early and shared the dancefloor with me.

Marie Claire brings UK attitude to the Berlin underground, with her distinctive brand of
pounding peak time techno. Hot and dirty, her sound is characterised by rolling basslines,
roaring acid and explosive drops, charging the crowd with adrenaline. She crafts her story by
layering vocals ranging from raw and soulful to downright nasty. This rebellious spirit is likely
raising a riot on a dance floor near you.

The sweeping melodic fabric of Elephantoes feels like the sonic equivalent of ultra-high resolution macro footageof an insect world, revealing ever new details in its ever-changing depth of field. The propulsive force of this tuneis a pounding rhythm that is inexplicably unobtrusive yet compelling as it can be. Dancing to it feels just like thatmulticoloured spectrum of ideas that are associated with the name Intactogene. The Alyne Remix cranks up theBPM count substantially, resulting in a mad and intoxicating sequence of compressions and expansions: A radiant
fusion of trance and techno with outrageously high energy readin.

He takes the whole fun-thing damn seriously. That’s why he doesn’t sweep away his audience in a first-strike torrent of chartbusters, but rather adopts a strategy of sublime thoroughness. In consequence the euphoria that builds during his sets comes from deep down: Straight from the heart. Which again is the reason why Stephan Zovsky’s love for House Music is highly contagious – because it’s extremely passionate and full of dedication. The today 28-year-old man from Mecklenburg, the northeastern state of Germany, used to DJ at parties already as an underage kid. His outer appearance might be calmness personified – but when it comes to music, Stephan Zovsky turns out to be a man of extremes: If quiet, than quiet as it can be. If rocking, than rocking as it can be. His easy-going character moderates between atmospheres and moods that are very different. He merges them into one harmonic formula… a formula written in the universal language of House Music. How good this formula works on the floor is something Stephan proved again and again during the past 15 years: Solo and as one half of Schäufler & Zovsky, on Fusion Festival’s bustling Tanzwiese, as an artist of the 3000° Travelling Circus, or in clubs all around Europe. DJing is a rich source of inspiration for his studio work, and his studio work is a rich source of inspiration for his DJ sets. A self-oscillating loop that provokes a strong resonance within his audience: Big emotions on the dance floor!
