Alexander Schulz, 27 Jahre alt aufgewachsen in einer kleinen Industriestadt namens Cottbus entdeckte bereits im frühen Alter die Leidenschaft zur Elektronischen Musik. Einflüsse von Künstlern wie Carl Cox, Sven Väth, Richie Hawtin, Oliver Koletzki inspirierten ihn in die Kunst des Deejayings einzutauchen, woran er sehr schnell Gefallen fand. Angefangen unter dem Synonym „Alex Monoo“ sammelte er erste Erfahrungen in örtlichen Clubs und wurde schnell zum Resident des Funtasy Clubs in Cottbus. Heute ist er unumstritten unter dem Synonym „Alexander Schulz“ einer der beliebtesten Locals in der Lausitz und versteht es die Croud auf dem Floor abzuholen. Egal ob Opening, Primetime oder Aftershow, mit Gespür fürs Publikum und Location beweist er jedes Mal aufs Neue, dass er seine Tätigkeit lebt. 
Mit seiner musikalischen Vielfalt, einer eigenen Handschrift und dem Privileg, sich von den üblichen Sachzwängen freigeschwommen zu haben ist es schwer, seinen Style genauer zu definieren. Irgendwo zwischen Deephouse und Techno fühlt er sich heimisch. 
Mittlerweile arbeitet er an ersten eigenen Produktionen und spielt sein Lied in Clubs und auf Openairs über den Landkreis hinaus.

Tober&Tober ( Alle Tanzen // Hannover ) presents Afterhour Sounds Podcast Nr.102

Blut ist bekanntlich dicker als Wasser und Familie ist ein Bund fürs Leben. Dass dies nicht nur leere Phrasen sind leben und lieben Simon und Marvin so leidenschaftlich vor wie es nur sein kann. So verwundert es auch nicht, dass das gemeinschaftliche Erlebnis für die beiden einen hohen Stellenwert besitzt. 

Seit nun etwas mehr als 5 Jahren stehen die beiden gebürtigen Hildesheimer Jungs Seite an Seite - sowohl vor als auch hinter den Decks und frönen ihrer gemeinsamen Liebe - die elektronische Musik. Etwa zur gleichen Zeit riefen sie auch ihre eigene Partyreihe namens ‘Alle Tanzen’ ins Leben, welche sich in den zurückliegenden Jahren zu einer absoluten Erfolgsgeschichte entwickelt hat. Gemeinsam mit ihren Freunden von Nackt auf Tahiti und Into the Woods Germany haben sie in der Kulturfabrik Löseke Hildesheim ein Zuhause gefunden, welches sie seither unzählige Male mit sehr viel Liebe zum Detail verzaubert und so zu einer absoluten Top-Adresse in Mitteldeutschlands Clubkultur gemacht haben. 

Als DJ & Produzenten brennen Simon und Marvin ebenso leidenschaftlich für ihre Sache und so verwundert es auch nicht dass auch ihr musikalisches Schaffen von einer unbändigen Qualität geprägt ist. Dabei ergänzen sich die Jungs wirklich wie Yin und Yang und das hört und fühlt man bei ihrem Sound auf ganz besondere Weise. Ihr Podcast für unsere Reihe macht da keine Ausnahme - ein Set mit dem Prädikat ‘Weltklasse’ und nein da übertreiben wir ganz sicher nicht, aber davon könnt ihr euch gern selbst überzeugen.

Color Ray is the moniker of progressive and deep house producer and DJ, Shrinivas Sundar aka Vas. With a background in music stretching back to the age of 15, Color Ray is a true artist with a propensity for songwriting and innovative production concepts. While handling guitar duties in the early half of the last decade, Shrinivas was the fundamental force behind the musical direction of diverse homegrown bands like Depths of Suffering, Nemesis, and Blackhole Theory. After discovering and revisiting electronic dance music inspirations like Hernan Cattaneo, John Digweed & Cid Inc, he honed his focus towards a new and fresh musical style that gave birth to this alias. 

Color Ray’s music is unique & experimental, combining sounds from deep house, tech house, tribal tech, progressive house, soulful house and techno. The harmony, contemplative moods and sounds are inspired from the guitar reverberations echoing in his mind, which laid the foundations for his tunes. This combined with a natural talent for music production has paved the way for cutting-edge and standout tracks. 

His high profile remixes for Andre Sobota’s “Fragments” (Particles), Tanseer’s “Both Sides” (Juicebox Music), Biologik’s “Sarin” (Particles) & his collaborative remix of Ziger’s “Razor” (Juicebox Music) with Praveen Achary earned him numerous accolades amongst fellow DJs & Producers as well as on Beatport & media outlets. Color Ray has firmly established himself as one of the most forward-thinking producers and DJs from India, with support from across the scene from international artists like Hernan Cattaneo, Sahar Z, Sasha Le Monnier, Kobana, Marcelo Vasami and renowned Indian artists like Vinayak^A, Praveen Achary and Vipul Angirish, to name a few. 

Having launched his own show “Prism” on one of the world’s leading internet radio stations - Proton Radio, a show which takes you on a colorful journey through music with mixes not bound to any specific genre but bound to your soul, Color Ray’s ‘Prism’ mixes have been a firm favorite amongst fans. His technique transcends to on the on-ground domain where he has played in various venues across the country alongside artists like Hernan Cattaneo, Oliver Molden, Spektre, Proff, James Harcourt & many more. When people think of Switzerland, they think of green meadows, clear water, snow-covered mountaintops and fresh air. In the world of electronic music they think of soulful house music and an extensive clubbing past. It is in both of these environments that Marco Biagini aka KELLERKIND grew up. In the small and rural town of Solothurn KELLERKIND discovered the Chicago sound in the local clubs and became fully infected with the virus of house music. 15 years later, KELLERKIND has become an irreplaceable figure in the Swiss electronic music scene. Backflash: In the beginning, it wasn’t much more than just fun. Now though, it is a true passion. After many nights spent on the dance-floor of Solothurn’s Nacht-Schicht, KELLERKIND started to DJ himself – at first in his bedroom and soon in the clubs in and around his hometown. Warm deep house and the soulful music of Chicago were his biggest influences then and still remain to be the backbone to his sets. Very quickly KELLERKIND starts to DJ out in Switzerland’s big clubs. By 2007 Marco has already played the country’s most important venues, be it Zurich’s Hive, Rohstofflager, Rote Fabrik, Zukunft or Bern’s Formbar.

His career, however, really kicks off with his first release ‘Bergluft’ in 2008. His name, which translates as ‘basement child’, can be taken quite literal, as he spends hours creating and arranging his warm house sounds in his basement studio in Solothurn. In 2007, KELLERKIND meets the guys behind Swiss house imprint Sirion Recordings and in 2008 he releases ‘Bergluft’, a track that gets worldwide feedback. It is played out by many famous DJs, charts at number 5 of Beatport’s minimal section and even gets airtime on John Digweed’s UK radio show on Kiss100. After the sterling debut things happen quickly: Florian Meindl releases the Keller EP on his label Flash Recordings, of which the tracks ‘Natural Juice’ and ‘TomTom’ list highly in various techno charts. Later the tracks are re-released on vinyl as part of the Don’t Go Home EP, which does well with record retailers such as decks.de. In 2009, KELLERKIND’s working-relationship with Oliver Koletzki develops as he is asked to produce a remix for Koletzki’s ‘Since you are gone’. Since then he has released a shared EP on Stil vor Talent with Niko Schwind – an homage to classic house music – and has been featured on the Swiss Edition EP in 2010. More recently, his Groovebox EP was released on Flash to critical acclaim and another collaboration with Niko Schwind appeared on Light my Fire. While the spring of last year saw KELLERKIND’s first full length. Basement Story, his Backflash EP on Stil vor Talent has been the career defining moment thus far: hitting the zeitgeist perfectly, it reigned the Beatport Deep House charts at number one for weeks. Now, not even two years later, his second album Music is a Miracle is about to become another big success story. 

Simultaneously, KELLERKIND’s DJ career has taken a sharp turn: he masters the decks at Berlin’s famous Watergate every other month, holds a residency at Hive in Zurich and jets to international venues in Paris, Amsterdam or Istanbul regularly. While channeling the energy of the club in his records, KELLERKIND enjoys the contrast between weekend and weekday: he produces his tracks in a small wooden hut tucked away deep in the Swiss countryside. It is here that his warm and soulful tracks are borne and he gets the chance to replenish his batteries for those long weekends ahead. “Most of my inspiration still comes from the time spent in clubs”, he states, a fact that is confirmed by his DJ sets and productions. “Music, for me, is everything – it’s a miracle”.

Zur Siebenunddreißigsten Ausgabe des Traumschmiede Podcasts freuen wir uns auf Musik vom Rheinknie. 
Der Basler Sascha Stohler, einst ein teil des Duos „Suddenly Neighbours", spielt in der Clublandschaft seiner Heimatstadt nicht nur als DJ eine Rolle sondern auch als Gastgeber mehrerer Partyreihen.
Tanzwiese, Unter Freunden oder die Bunte Kuh sind nur einige jener Feste wobei letzteres auch seiner Podcastreihe den Namen gibt. Egal ob Nordstern, Schiff oder der Hinterhof, in jedem geschätzten Club der Stadt war er zugegen.

Celestial Mechanica is a glimpse of our solar system that is only allowed by means of an artistic lens that we are providing for you. Because of the massive scale of our solar system it is very difficult to imagine what all of it looks like working together as one. Celestial Mechanica will allow us this privilege. From a distance it may not be clear what we are looking at but as we approach it becomes instantly clear what this is. First we step into a loosely fenced area that is for pedestrians only where all of the Gas Giants are whirling above us. As we get closer to the Sun we can see the Rocky Planets at eye level spinning around their orbits around the Sun. It is now time to step up onto the catwalk via 4 staircases that lead up to an elevated walking area where we can really view the complex mechanics, feel the heat from the Sun’s fire effect and see the orbiting Rocky Planets, now slightly below us and separated by a handrail so that we do not disturb their delicate orbits.

To him, a set is to keep a pleasant and harmonious continuity by having a very complete and unique library, but it is not all, according to him it is necessary to remain on the lookout for releases and constantly to seek new artists.
