this is the set liveset I played on the 4d system in amsterdam during my residency in April 2014. 
Equipment used: MFB Tanzbär, Clavia Nordrack2, TeenageEngineering OP-1, Arturia Microbrute and AbletonLive as master clock, sampler and midi sequencer. 

Everything on the 4D sound was tweaked by hand in real-time, as well as the whole arrangement. I preprogrammed some chords and grooves on my machines though. 

The 4D System is an advanced spatial sound system and the set is binaural (also called dummy head) recorded - in order to get an idea of how it sounded you need to use your headphones. 

For the full binaural experience, I made the lossless AIFF file available for download. Please note that the download is over 1 GB in size.

┋Lars Neubert presents Afterhour Sounds Podcast Nr.66┋

Vor mittlerweile mehr als 14 Jahren entdeckte unser heutiger Podcastler “Lars Neubert” bereits seine große Liebe für die elektronische Musik und speziell für das klassische DJing. 
Zu dieser Zeit studierte er in der sächsischen Metropole Dresden, wo er auch seine ersten Auftritte gefeiert hatte. Seither ist er als DJ schon viel herum gekommen und durfte bereits in solch namhaften Clubs wie dem Sisyphos oder der Ritter Butzke hinter den Decks stehen.
 
Auf die ersten Bookings folgten nur wenig später auch die ersten eigenen Produktionen, welche 2006 erstmals offiziell released wurden, zu jener Zeit auf dem ehemaligen Dresdner Label “Audiomorph” (heute WBA Records), weitere Veröffentlichungen erfolgten auf so bekannten Labels wie Casual Lab, Auditive, Eclaire The Heart, Wonnemusik uvm.

Für unsere 66.Ausgabe hat sich der liebe Lars Neubert ganz besonders ins Zeug gelegt und passender Weise ein 66 minütiges Meisterwerk geschaffen, welches durch eine ganz besonders treibende und groovige Note besticht. Unsere Afterhour ist damit mindestens für den heutigen Sonntag definitiv gerettet ;)

Firlefranz, aka Franz-Caspar Raml is a Berlin based Dj, Producer and Liveact. He's spining the decks since early 2011. But it was conceivable that "only dejaying" didn't satisfy him. So he started to produce his own music, what he's doing with all of his heart. In 2014 he became a resident of the CLN crew which organizes a lots of great open air parties in Berlin. His Dj Sets are all strictly vinyl.

Rassmus Anderson´s aka Anders.on musical personality forms a dichotomy.
His sets depending on the mood, deep pulsating basslines a lot of groove and glitchy sounds (Anders.On).
on the other Side (Mr. Randerson) with emotional melodie´s and some vocals. 
Born in northern Germany and living since 2000 in Hamburg. 
Rassmus Anderson came in touch with electronic music pretty late. 
Mainly listening and playing Hip Hop and Hardcore, he got bored by the annoying clichés and stereotypes related to this kind of music. 
In 1998 he got introduced to new playgrounds within the electronic music scene, staying a consumer at first. 
But after a some time he wanna know how they doin that long music set´s he heard. So he started and created his own sessions.
He starts with software and a mouse, tested some controllers and going back to good old vinyl or t-vinyl. learning by doing. :)
In the year 2013 he found his soulmade Hanna Block on the dancefloor. 
As they got to know each other they saw that they prefer 99% the same music! Awesome!! 
Anders.On Block was born and they started some amazing B2B Sessions. 
In 2014 they joined "Young Broke & Talented" Hamburg!
A young team of awesome Artists they become friends, spinning/producing tunes and organizing special underground Events.
The right ground to keep our musical mind open!

Oh! "SiD is SID" or "SiD as Sid Siddsen"... No, that's not a tacky 80s-track, and not a has-been reggae band from Berlin either. We're talking about SiD here!

1982, 1992... Berlin born and bread... holiday job: learning club culture... Stop... Walfisch/FANTASIA/HOUSESYNDICATE/LOVE PARADE... Stop... Berlin in the 90s, you know the score.

You've not heard of him? Try googling! Depending on where you are, google might suggest SID Display Technology. Or, if you are in Germany, it will say Sports-Information-Dienst (Service). That's correct. Well, not really, but it makes a lot of sense. When SID's in action, everybody moves. Next day muscle soreness guaranteed. But hey, dancing is a workout, right?
So, try google again: SID DJ. There you go! We humbly suggest adding the powerful term Soundcloud to your search. Press PLAY, and further questions will be moot.

But SID's not only a DJ; he is a producer, sound explorer, laser musician, a key to whatever and event organiser.  Co-founder of Potsdam/ Berlin based label Varied Records. In 2009, SID launched the networking event 3plus1. This regular club night has become a Berlin institution and is hosted reguarly at the lovely "Salon zur Wilden Renate".

And: yes, Bar25, yes, Kater Holzig, Katerkomben, 25 hour marathon sets, Lazer Ramon, interactive networking projects and all that stuff. But let's not dwell on the past; let's talk about right now: SID is a DJ that can put a whole new spin on a party. Someone to really look forward to. Not only to his sound, but to him personally; to the good and easygoing guy he is.

SID is on the way, and he wants the way of doing as target. Does he have one goal? No, one's too puny.
SONAR tomorrow, the revenue office the day after that and please, no meetings on mondays.
Here's guy who is fully integrated into the world of electronic music; just as passionate, down-to-earth and crazy as you and me. HiFive!

Also in der Schule war es das Klangholz und kam dann später wie so viele übers "Feiern" zur Musik.

Wo und wann war dein erster Gig?

Der war in Hamburg beim lieben Adrian & seiner Crew auf einem der BananenRepublik Open Airs. Andrian war damals so nett und hat auf meinen "Fick dich DHL"-Post bei FB echte Hilfsbereitschaft gezeigt und meine AktivBoxen im DHL Zentrallager mit dem Auto abgeholt. Diese Autofahrt und das dazugehörige "kennenlernen" hat mir mein ersten Auftritt verschafft.

Angefangen hat es, als ich durch Hanna die Jungs von YoungBroke&Talented ❤ näher kennengelernt habe.
Dort haben dann Hanna und ich regelmäßig als "Anders.On Block" unsere b2b Sessions gespielt! laaav ❤

Was Produktionen angeht, bin ich nicht wirklich kontinuierlich dabei. Habe zwei Projekte schon sehr lange laufen und bin bald an einem Punkt, wo entsprechendes Fachwissen von meinen Jungs vermittelt werden muss. 🙂
