Nächster Stopp: Berlin. Viel sind wir mit unserem Podcast mittlerweile herumgereist; jetzt machen wir mal wieder einen Halt in der Hauptstadt. Auf den Künstler unserer diesmaligen Podcast-Ausgabe wurden wir bereits letztes Jahr aufmerksam, als wir über die zweite Ausgabe seiner selbst begonnenen Set-Reihe „Tales Of A Dreamer“ stolperten. Beide Teile waren einfach total genial (und wie wir dann erfahren haben, sehr aufwändig) zusammengestellte Mixe, die tatsächlich einfach zum Entfliehen aus dem Alltag und Träumen einladen. Als dieses Jahr dann die dritte Ausgabe erschien, mussten wir einfach mit http://soundcloud.com/luishill in Kontakt treten und mit ihm über dieses ungewöhnliche Konzept reden. Das Besondere an Luis ist, dass er, was seinen Sound angeht, absolut wandelbar ist. Während er in seinen „Dreamer“-Sets wirklich extrem chillig und entspannt daher kommt, dreht er live auch gerne mal ein bisschen auf, was man auch seinen anderen Podcast-Beiträgen anhört. Dabei ist der junge Mann ziemlich umtriebig. Internationale Bookings unter anderem in Spanien, der Schweiz und den Niederlanden lassen ihn ganz schön herum kommen und ansonsten verbringt er seine meiste Zeit gerade in Rotterdam um dort seinen Master zu beenden. Trotzdem bleibt er seiner Heimatstadt treu und ist jeden Monat mehrfach in Berlin anzutreffen und spielt dort unter anderem öfter im Ritter Butzke. Nebenbei produziert er auch noch selbst. Umso mehr freut es uns daher, dass er sein beim Interview gegebenes Versprechen, unseren Podcast mit seinem Beitrag zu bereichern, auf so eindrucksvolle Weise eingehalten hat.

Denn das Set ist ein mehr als gelungener Querschnitt durch die oben genannte Bandbreite seines Sounds. Ruhig und träumerisch bis hin zu fast etwas düster aber auch druckvoll und streckenweise technoid-clubbig. Das alles bekommt man nicht in einem Set unter? Oh doch. Überzeugt euch selbst!

Charley's Girl is a Hamburg based DJ and producer. His introduction into the electronic music scene was in 2013 through filming and the production of music documentaries and videos. Inspired and fascinated by the history and spirit of techno music, it didn't take long before he ventured out on his own in 2014 hosting and co-hosting successful events such as TECHNO& as well as the OBN Rooftop Session.

Having both his parents active in the music industry instilled a passion into Charley's Girl's upbringing and this led to his decision to launch his own music project in 2015. As soon as Charley's Girl was on the scene he was quick to be accepted, leading to a position as resident DJ at Hamburg's Pocca Club, playing up to 8 hour sets twice a month. In spite of his early beginnings he has been privileged to share the booth alongside artists such as Adam Beyer or Victor Ruiz.

His sets are dominated by straight forward Techno music, rounded up with long, deep and melodic breaks in addition to some House Influences - can't quite believe it? Then you better come check out his gig.

seventeen. Nowadays, his unique and euphoric sound has brought him the „Desperados
Newcomer of the Month“-Award at FAZE-Magazine, strong releases on severals labels and
awesome chances to celebrate his sound all over! In his sets, his love to different styles of
electronic music is always noticeable and makes him a person to watch and of course, listen.
With his own SCHLAFLOS-Crew and his Parties all over southern Germany, Harry Ken made input
in the electronic scene and he is still not done doing it!

Within a very short time, the likeable artist made it to the decks of all the city's clubs and earned himself a broad fan base with his unique, energetic techno sound.

Gigs all over Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Bulgaria and even a Colombia tour followed. After his debut release together with Ryan Dupree in 2018, he currently uses the time in the studio and is currently working on his own EP.

Pakk [Surrrealism]

Born in Spain, Pakk began his journey in the world of production at the legendary Beatfreak Recordings label and together with EdOne they published “Alhambra EP”, which quickly positioned itself on the sales charts. Thomas Gandey and Dizharmonia are in charge of doing the remixes to give a leap in quality to the release.

In 2019, again accompanied by EdOne, he publishes his second EP "Madness Dose / Dangerous" on one of the best labels on the scene, Selador Recordings. Artists of the stature of Alican and Nandu are responsible for making the remixes that will later be reproduced at a wide variety of events and recognized worldwide.

He is currently working on new productions and immersed in the artistic development of the project "Surrrealism", which has seen the light at the beginning of 2021 and will soon release the first reference.
