XYZ and When We Dip present the Selectors series, where we give our family of producers an opportunity to display their prowess behind the decks. Expect unreleased material from across the label collective, as well as classic gems and heady grooves from some of the underground's finest selectors.

For the first Selectors episode of 2024, we’re excited to bring you another featured artist from the label’s 5 year compilation, Riotvan founder, Panthera Krause. The epitome of funky and fresh, he delivers a mix rife with timeless grooves and high energy, starting our year off on the right foot. 

Included in the re-release is Panthera’s remix of Ian O’Donovan’s ‘Sun,’ where his signature bassline shines as it rides the classical synth touches from the original, creating a dancefloor killer.

Prost!, member of the Parisian collective HANABI and resident of the SILODOM (Ger) and La Douche Froide (Metz), is a free spirit! Multidisciplinary artist, between painting and music, the club culture aroused him from a very young age! Originally from the east of France and passionate about lager beer, he is now based in Paris where he actively participates in enlivening the nights of the French capital. Thanks to the Hanabi collective, Prost! takes part in the organization of many events, and perpetuates the party by going behind the turntables. Since January 2022, he has been performing every week in multiple Parisian clubs and bars. But also in various French cities, as well as in Germany.
Difficult to label Prost! in a musical style. His curiosity and his desire to share lead him to explore a multitude of styles. These DJ Sets vary between Downtempo/Slowtech and very 90's Techno/Trance/Acid/Rave, passing through House, Tech House or Minimal House! Very expressive behind the turntables, he shares his passion with fervor and channels his energy into his performances in order to make bodies wave and souls sweat.

Gavrilo Jovovic aka Raven TK was born in 1986 in Podgorica / Montenegro, and he started working individually as a DJ in 2007, working on private and illegal parties in their country. In 2010 he established the organisation called Techno Klinika. He has performed at many festivals such as Exit Festival (SRB), Turn On (MNE), Refresh Festival (MNE), Sea Dance Festival (MNE), Lunar Festival (BiH), Spring Break Festival (MNE), YUG Festival (MNE), Adriatic Perception Festival (CRO), Waveul Festival (MNE) and more. Raven TK collaborated and played with many big known names such as Nick Warren, Silicone Soul, Ian Pooley, Alexander Kowalski, Jimmy Van M, Max Graham, Toni Rios, Guy J, James Zabiela, Chris Liebing, Cristian Varela, Maceo Plex, Rodriguez Jr. Spektre, Petar Dundov, Matador, Umek, Guy Mantzur, Ramiro Lopez, Pig&Dan, Technasia, The Advent, Coyu. and with all DJs from Montenegro, and many radio shows: Proton radio, InsomniaFm, Deep In Miami, and Deep House Moscow. Raven TK sounds are full of deep, tech, techno, and progressive vibes with a lot of energy, an intoxicating groove, and a melody that's at once pretty and sharp sounds. He is also, one of the founders of the Moonwalk Club which aims to raise the Montenegrin scene to a higher level.

Prost! est un esprit libre, résident du SILODOM (Allemagne) et La Douche Froide (Metz). Artiste multidisciplinaire, oscillant entre peinture et musique, la culture club l’a captivé dès son plus jeune âge. Il est maintenant basé à Paris, où il contribue activement à animer les nuits de la capitale française.

Pendant longtemps, il était difficile de définir Prost! dans un seul style musical. Sa curiosité et son envie de partage l’ont conduit à explorer une multitude de genres. Aujourd'hui, il a trouvé sa voie, proposant des voyages hardgroove qui oscillent entre des sonorités hypnotiques et mentales, sans jamais oublier son amour pour les voix house.

Il a sorti plusieurs projets, dont des EPs en 2023 et 2024 sur deux labels allemands. En octobre 2024, il a également contribué à la compilation pour les 10 ans du label Jannowitz Records avec un titre, ainsi qu'une track auto-produite lancée en avant-première sur la chaîne OBSCUUR.

Expressif derrière les platines, Prost! partage sa passion avec ferveur, canalisant son énergie dans ses performances pour faire vibrer les corps et transpirer les âmes.
