The second release on Mirror Records shows perfectly that to find talent you don't have to be looking far away. Sometimes the best is just around the corner waiting to be discovered - like Monsieur Pluspetit! We are more than happy to welcome this talented artist from our hometown to the family. For his Waking Dream EP he produced three Original tracks. The first one, Never Tired, was made in a collaboration with the street artist Nanou and consists of a dreamy build up, driving high hats and beautiful vocals parts. The title track Waking Dream is also quite dreamy but with more drive and groove. Creating a catchy vibe and instant goosebumps! The last original Track however futures a hypnotiyque melody and is pretty straight forward - completing the EP with a true dance floor monster. To finish off the EP we found two very unique remixers to work on Waking Dream. First of all we have Haze-M, who put the track in a spacey direction and turned the melody around to create a very exciting remix and on the other hand we have Shosho who created a more minimalistic and playful version of the track. It's a pleasure to have both of them on the imprint!

Another Mind debuts on Mirror Records with their newest EP "A New Liar". The four-track Melodic House & Techno EP features stirring melodies, atmospheric textures and groovy vibes. The first track "A New Liar" delivers a steady buildup throughout the track. With a driving bassline and mystical sounds "A New Liar" features elements that will delight any listener. The remix by Marc DePulse delivers a more melodic twist - melancholic strings merge into playful melodies and end in a rousing musical firework sure to lift the listener onto other realms. The flipside of the EP features "Morphine", this track will have the listeners longing for more. The driving percussions, nagging pads and a groovy bassline, make it impossible to hold still and will create magical moments on the dancefloor. With the remix of "Morphine " Mirror labelhead Lycos make his first appearance on the label. He took the track onto a more straight forward path while saving its minimal sound. The goal of the Four Points series is to celebrate the international dance music scene, and this time is no different. With two acts from America and two from Germany, this new edition of the compilation bridges the Atlantic divide with four excellent new tracks and two Yoshitoshi debuts. Although clubs are closed, virtual parties and live streams have taken over the industry and new music is as important as ever, and we know these new tunes will find a happy home in your set, even if you’re playing from home.

Los Angeles native Rinzen starts things off with exactly the type of intricate melodic techno the producer is known for; big, pounding drums and fluttering synth riffs that intertwine throughout the arrangement create an intense sonic journey. Next up we have Rachel Raw and BOHO, the dynamic duo from Cologne, who made their massive debut on Yoshitoshi a few months ago with the Happening EP. “McQueen” is a dark and hypnotic roller that we could just love to hear in the club right about now. Berliner MUUI make his Yoshitoshi debut with “Panoptic Phase,” showcasing his brand of cerebral house music with swirling, arpeggiated synths and spacious pads. This one is perfect for the late hours of the night. Finally, Bostonians Warung round things out with “Memora,” an excellent addition to the package that shows why the young duo has already caught the ear of tastemakers like John Digweed and Waze & Odyssey. It’s deep and melodic house at its finest.
