Currently writing new album material.......
Set on End formed in West Auckland, New Zealand, in 2005. In late 2007, after a nine month hiatus, the band replaced their front man with current vocalist, Jesse Williams. 

Their debut EP, 'Means to an End' was recorded in late 2008 with acclaimed producer and musician Zorran Mendonsa (ex-New Way Home, Solstate) in their home studio, Mindset. Mastered by Evan Short (Cobra Khan, Subtract, ex-Concord Dawn), with artwork by Damian Alexander (Blindspott), Set on End independently released 'Means to an End' in early 2009. 

Officially making their live debut in January of 2009 with shows throughout New Zealand in support of Kiwi metal legends Subtract, Set on End went on to be a headlining act at both HMHR’s Metalfest 1 and Metalfest 2. Since then the band have regularly performed around the country, most notably playing support for US bands Trivium, Whitechapel and Poison the Well, Canada's Cancer Bats and the UK's Bring Me the Horizon.

Set on End are currently writing new music for an upcoming, full-length album. With a second guitarist added to their lineup (TBA), the aggressive, groove-oriented rhythm section of 'Means to an End' is set to evolve into a richer, more complex and dynamic scape.
