Kartel landed on this earth on 7-05-1994! His  interest in music begin back in 2004 when he heard Ciara Grammy award winner song titled “Goodies” on mtv jams of the week. “ I was sitting in my room and I heard this catchy melody within the beat and the bass was rocking! So I decided to go into the living room and see what was catching my attention and ever since then I’ve known that I wanted to be music artist and a dancer and it was up from there “ kartel also list the following artist such as Beyoncé , Nicki Minaj , Drake , AALIYAH , Aubrey O’Day , DIDDY, Cardi B ,The Weekend , Sam Smith, Rihanna just to name a few who also has inspired him in music. 

Kartel is mainly a Pop Rap Arist! This genre was introduced back in the 1990s and late 1980s according to Wikipedia. Kartel knew he would be a great fit In this genre of music from his animated theater voices and tones and characters. “ pop was a world where you can be free, from what I was understanding from watching the pop culture rise! I started off in rap hip hop but I felt limited and I wasn’t sure if the audience there was gonna comprehend me as an artist or my message in the music I was trying To deliver, so I said to myself let me allow myself to go with the flow and the flow was flowing to pop rap music. I wanted to still carry rap with me because I’ve studied it for months and months and years as well. So I said what if I mix this with melodic flows and animated vocals as well. I knew I had to stand out since I don’t have a Adele voice, or a Ed Sherman voice that snatches your soul when you listen to those type of artist. Everything came together when I decided to do a preview on SoundCloud and shared a pop song that I’ve made on my iPhone 12 Max Pro and see how the audience would react to it that are pop based! Surprisingly it did extremely well and from the moment on, I said this is it. This is where I’m supposed to be “ . We look forward to hearing and seeing what kartel can deliver to the music world of pop/rap.
