“Syntax” is hard to define for some. The dictionary describes it as “a connected or orderly system” or “a harmonious arrangement of parts or elements.”Knowing this, it makes sense that it was many small pieces unfolding and coming together that helped bring Syntax Records to life in 1997. What is now a musical empire started as one dream shared between two brothers who loved music and saw its power to reach the world. 

Crank that volume... 4 years ago, we (Bryan Saylor and Ethan Sansoni) launched a podcast. When we recorded our first episode, we didn't have a name for the podcast. When we hit play for the first time, we had no idea if anyone would listen. But it took off. Real Talk The Pod was born. 2 years and 60 episodes later, we hung up the microphones to pursue other things. But we're back. We're focused, we're pumped, and we're ready to make you laugh, make you think, and tell you about this guy who changed our life. Crank that volume, let's go.

Set with Stars (SWS), is a rap-electronica fusion duo based out of 
Melbourne, FL led by songwriter, Ableton User Group host and Producer Anthony (20) Duran.
 
    Ivan Grammer, SWS lead drummer and an Atlanta Institute
of Music grad, joined 20 to collaborate on a song
called "Falldown", released in January 2013.
 
    That single would soon turn into a close friendship and the
birth of "Set with Stars".
 
    SWS lead vocalist and rapper, 20, writes the music using Analog Synths, Electronic & Midi Controlled soft-instrumentation combined with an arrangement of the live drums and percussion.
