Seven Acts of Mercy began to form as a band in Adelaide, South Australia, late during 2011/early 2012, with a mind set to blend our musical tastes together and have it driven by epic keyboard melodies. After completing our line-up, we recorded our first track 'Confined' with Kyle Bloksgaard (frontman of Infiltraitor). We then began to perform our music live at various venues all over Adelaide. 

In early 2013 we recorded two more tracks, 'The Architect' and 'Unsilenced', with Bradley Stuart of Desolate Recordings. At the beginning of October, we released the track ‘Vision’, also recorded with Desolate Recordings. Shortly after this we supported the Swedish Metalcore Heavyweights ‘Adept’ when they hit Adelaide on their Australian tour. 

Since then we have been writing new material and learning to produce our own music. We have released our newest track, ‘The Sky’, in celebration of our upcoming support with Born of Osiris and After the Burial when they hit Adelaide in January 2014. This track was produced and mastered by our lead guitarist, Samuel Ahrens.
