AFFILIATED started as a five member group in 2002, became a three member group in 2006 and by 2007 the duo was formed. "Durte" & "Luni" make up for the missing links to the chain. They bring a mix of the old south to the new south, with a sound similar to "Outkast" & "UGK" but with their own swag. They have been all over Atlanta with a unique style and custom made clothes called "Graffetti wear". They have won numerous open mic competitions and even hosted their own open mic at Club "Calabash" in Stone Mountain, Ga from 2010-2011. In fall of 2010 they dropped their debut album "Shrimp,Crablegs & Wine." The title alone states that the music is mature & all about money. After a two year hiatus, the group headed back to the studio and spent months making their come back. They discovered a new feel for music and a different sound, and are more focused on catering to the "ladies." While still sounding street as they began, there is now a more soft and sensual sound from the duo whom now have an array of thuggish "love" songs on this featured album. In January of 2014, Affiliated is set to release their sophomore album " Strictly Business." The first single off the album, "Work da pole" was released September 2013 at an album release party for another artist. Affiliated has become worldwide and their music can be found on reverbnation, iTunes, amazon and other outlets. The group has flourished as the years have gone on and their music will live on.
