Impulsivity (Vincenzo Remix) [feat. juSt b]

The summer vibe isn't over, and for the lands down under let this episode be an emotional prelude to spring.  The first half is a bit of a genre-buster.  It has all the energy of Dante's staple disco vibe but with tons of unique sounds in the rhythm.  Bright like the sun.  At the half, the set takes on some more serious underground vibes.  Some basslines become more atmospheric with tones that are thick and even somber.  But like the heat of the day, the fun dance vibe lives on throughout.

Episode 188 - Dante - Golden Integration

Last month, I was blessed with an opportunity to purchase a new 4 channel DJ controller.  Then, I took a vested interest in actually reading the manual.  Once I felt comfortable, I thought it would be cool to put together a voice intro for my next mix.  All this culminated in a recording this afternoon of 30 tracks over 3 hours.  So I now present to you Episode 7 of the "Unwind Your Mind" series.
After listening to a ton of sets from DJ's and Producers who have inspired me over time, I hope I've been able to replicate some of those concepts on this new mix.  After the opener, there is always 2, sometimes 4 and mainly 3 tracks going at all times.

Sharing this year's mix from the party that I look forward to playing more than any other each year. This year I had the privilege of closing the daytime session by the pool. I went for cheeky mischievous fun (no surprise there!), and near the end threw in some vinyl from yesteryear to get my goosebumps going again :)
