Biography

Giacomo Busonera gets familiar to the electronic music from an early age thanks to his
father, a great collector of vinyls and CDs with chillout sounds.
At 18 he began to take his first steps on the electronic scene performing in Cagliari, his
hometown, gradually appearing in the consoles of all the most important clubs. In his
decidedly eclectic DJ sets, he loves to vary through infinite shades ranging from chill,
downtempo, organic house, deep house to get to a real riot of groove and techno melodic
melody depending on the inputs coming from the dancefloor.
The passion for this type of sound leads him to experience something of his own in the
studio with his longtime friend Corrado Zonnedda, giving life to the &quot;S&#39;Isla&quot; project.
Under this name came the first releases on labels such as Lapsus Music and Armada Music.
To date, Giacomo has performed in the consoles of the best clubs in Sardinia, but has also
had the opportunity to perform in various clubs in the boot and abroad: Belgium, Ibiza, Bali
and Zanzibar, sharing the console with the likes of Erick Morillo, Little Louie Vega, Ilario
Alicante, Michel Cleis, Supernova, Maxim Lany, Barbara Tucker, Ralf, Claudio Coccoluto,
Ivan Pica, Ellen Allien and many others.

Giacomo Busonera si avvicina alla musica elettronica sin da piccolo grazie al padre, grande
collezionista di vinili e cd con sonorità chillout.
A 18 anni inizia a muovere i primi passi sulla scena elettronica esibendosi a Cagliari, sua città
natale presenziando via via nelle consolle di tutti i club più importanti.
Nei suoi dj set decisamente eclettici, ama variare attraversando infinite sfumature spaziando tra
chill, downtempo, organic house, deep house per arrivare ad un vero tripudio di groove e melodia
techno melodic a seconda degli input che arrivano dalla dancefloor
La passione per questo tipo di sonorità lo porta a sperimentare qualcosa di suo in studio con l’amico
di vecchia data Corrado Zonnedda, dando vita al progetto “S’Isla”.
Sotto questo nome sono uscite le prime release su etichette come Lapsus Music e Armada Music.
Ad oggi Giacomo ha collezionato presenze nelle consolle dei migliori club della Sardegna, ma ha
avuto modo di esibirsi anche in diversi club dello stivale e all’estero: Belgio , Ibiza, Bali e Zanzibar,
condividendo la consolle con artisti del calibro di Erick Morillo, Little Louie Vega, Ilario Alicante,
Michel Cleis, Supernova, Maxim Lany, Barbara Tucker, Ralf, Claudio Coccoluto, Ivan Pica, Ellen
Allien e tanti altri.

Nick Tixi is an Italian professional DJ and radio speaker with a deep-rooted passion for house, dance, and electronic grooves. Based in Cagliari, he currently holds residencies at Bacan, Colonial, Palazzo Doglio, and Club Nautico Chia, bringing his signature sound to some of the most iconic venues on the island.

With a career spanning over two decades, Nick has been behind the decks in many of South Sardinia’s most legendary clubs, including Tsunami, Lido, Jko, Spazio Newton (now Cocò), Hangar, Zero, Linea Notturna, Movida, Sciabecco, Peyote, Charlie, Buddha del Mar, Buddha Beach, and historic spots like Sa Illetta, Bounty, Su Meriagu, Varadero, Eurogarden, Monastero and many more.

He has played major festivals and public events such as Motor Show Bologna, Poetto Fest, Nora Summer Festival, Orangeland, and New Year’s Eve main stage in Cagliari, sharing the stage with artists like Alex Neri, Joe T Vannelli, Gigi D’Agostino, Prezioso, and Diabolika and many more.

During the pandemic, he launched SLURP, a visionary DJ project broadcasting live sets from Sardinia’s most breathtaking and symbolic locations.

Also known as the stadium speaker for Cagliari Calcio (Serie A), Nick has a strong background in radio: he started on Radio Sintony in 2001 with his cult show Raccolta Indifferenziata, and later created formats like Spotted Sintony and Sardinia Make Some Noise, aired every weekend.

Beyond music, Nick is a journalist for L’Unione Sarda (covering culture, music, and entertainment), a communication specialist, and a political science graduate. He lives between writing, events, music, travel, sports, and storytelling.

House music in the various facets, Electro, Vocal, Tribal, in which they live rhythms and melodies in a harmonious and successful, just like his character and his approach to people. Always faithful to his personal taste through which always manages to fill the dancefloor.
