The Nexus is where you enter the Chapter 7 dark worlds.
Think of it like the nexus from Yume Nikki where you enter the dream worlds. But here, you enter Dark Worlds.

Chapter 7 is separated into 5 different shorter dark worlds.
You get to choose from which dark world you want to start.

After you seal a dark world, you get sent back here.
