Alphys, who has made herself known as Commander Y., is one of the leaders of Team Yellow, and one of the primary targets of Suzy's mischief. She believes it to be more satisfying to rile up Alphys than it is to rile up anyone else on either team.

Her old geeky self is pretty much gone in favor of a far more fierce, albeit still occasionally timid warrior. She's not found herself in leadership position for nothing, after all. (Granted, nobody else was particularly more qualified, either.)

She's prone to being especially tunnel-visioned, here, glancing past details she normally otherwise might heavily scrutinize over. War really has changed her.

After some clever tricks by Kris and Suzy to evade Alphys for as long as they could manage, she finally manages to catch up to the two of them and corner them. Somewhat upset at both herself and the duo that she managed to get tricked like that in the first place, decides to do what she "should've done from the very start", and starts aiming her (paint)gun at them.

Alphys' main modes of attack consists of using her paintball gun to shoot at Kris and Suzy, as well as using her electric magic. She also occasionally calls for back-up, who can all be spared pretty easily. Alphys can also be spared, the method thereof still needs to be decided, but the battle doesn't hinge on running away from her to end the battle, and successfully sparing her will automatically spare whoever else is still in-battle.

The SOUL mechanic in this battle combines the soul-rotating of the green SOUL mode with the shooting of the yellow SOUL mode. Kris' soul turns red here. Their SOUL is confined to a single point, allowing only rotating to take place, forcing them to deflect oncoming attacks with bullets of their own.
