Desert Suns - Burning Temples

Rashid Ajami and Dan Berridge landed on Larry Cadge's inprint with a fresh EP called "Into the Night". Rashid brings his London sound after releasing on such good labels like Kittball, Noir Music, Cajual and his tracks have been remixed by Maya Jane Coles, Noir, DOP, Ramon Tapia, Tube & Berger.
Dan Berridge comes from Bristol, with long time experience in music for movies and television. He has released music as Broadway Project for 12 years
Together they collaborated on this EP, creating a double version of "Into the night", two tracks (Day version and Night version) connected by the same mood made of smooth and progressive deep tech house, the perfect soundtrack for a long way trip that bring you from dusk 'till down, dark and romantic as only night can be.
"Definition" is the closing track and shows how inspired Rashid is: warm and dreamy like some of the best Max Cooper's works.

Seymour Sachs is het experiment van 3 jongens uit Sittard. Een muzikaal monster van Frankenstein, als het ware. Seymour Sachs laat zich beïnvloeden door bands als Queens Of The Stone Age, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Ty Segall en A Place To Bury Strangers; maar ook door troubadours als Tom Waits en Nick Cave. Dit leidt tot psychedelische fuzzrock.

De drang om buiten de lijntjes te kleuren uit zich in het veelvuldige gebruik van effecten en het eigenhandig ombouwen van gitaren, maar natuurlijk vooral in de nummers. Het is vuil, hard, dreigend en bezwerend, maar op momenten ook juist mooi. Of, zoals Menno Visser (3voor12) het verwoordde: “Liever niet”.

Eind 2012 nam Seymour Sachs in een verlaten vleesfabriek eerste demo ‘Live At The Meat Factory’ op; begin 2015 is de eerste volledige plaat verschenen. Ook live doet Seymour van zich spreken en werden o.a. de podia van W2, Volt en Nieuwe Nor aangedaan, waar het voorprogramma van Captain Beefheart’s Magic Band werd verzorgd. Daarnaast werd begin 2015 de finale van Limburgs belangrijkste bandwedstrijd Nu Of Nooit bereikt.
