Für uns hat Musik noch immer eine gewisse Dringlichkeit!
Und obwohl sich nach vielen flatternden Schnipseln im Wind ein Papier zusammengefügt hat, haben wir noch lange keinen vollendeten Imperativ unseres musikalischen Ansatzes gefunden, denn die große Stärke dieser Show ist, dass weder jemand JA noch NEIN sagt!

Unsere Crew – John Ross Ewing, Jan DMC, El Hombro, DJ Minion und Alan Lomax – unterliegt keiner Quarantäne mit dem, was wir tun und es gibt keinen Grund, der dafür, aber auch keinen, der dagegen spricht, dass ausgerechnet wir diese Sendung machen. Und um mit der Radiolegende John Peel zu sprechen: Dass Sie diese Musik zu hören bekommen und sich daran freuen können, haben Sie den Musikern zu verdanken, die sie machen – nicht uns.

Wir glauben daran, dass Pop-Musik nach und nach aufgenommen wird und somit immer wieder neue und andere Zusammenhänge hergestellt werden, das Glück aber auch in dem Moment des Konsens liegen kann …

The four/five musicians use eight instruments to create a distinctive and extensive but always surprising sound. The multifarious voice of Klaus Schüller (v, g, sax, synth) layers over the sometimes spheric, sometimes clear-cut foundation laid by Ben Briggmann (b), Jonathan Klein(p), Mats Niepmann (dr, sax) and Markus Richter (sax). With a strictly adhered distance to the rest of the music scene, Safran create counter-intuitive and strangely familiar compositions and songs to appease your thirst for musical progression.
