ਸਿਧ ਗੋਸਟਿ ਦੀ ਬਾਣੀ ਰਾਮਕਲੀ ਰਾਗ ਵਿਚ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਜੋਗੀਆਂ ਵਿਚ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਪ੍ਰਚਲਤ ਅਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਮਨ ਭਾਉਂਦਾ ਰਾਗ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਵਿਚ ਸਿੱਧ-ਪੱਖ ਲਈ ਜੋਗ ਮੱਤ ਦੀ ਚੋਖੀ ਸ਼ਬਦਾਵਲੀ ਵਰਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਜਿਵੇਂ ਅਉਧੂ, ਪਾਰਗਰਾਮੀ, ਅਸਟ ਸਿਧੀ, ਅਨਹਤ, ਸੁੰਨ, ਅਲਖ ਅਪਾਰੋ ਆਦਿ। ਸੰਤ-ਪੱਖ ਵਲੋਂ ਉਸ ਸ਼ਬਦਾਵਲੀ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਗੁਰਮਤਿ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਬਦਾਵਲੀ ਕਿਹਾ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ। ਜਿਵੇਂ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ, ਗੁਰਮਤਿ, ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ, ਅਰਦਾਸਿ, ਨਾਮੁ, ਗੁਰੂ, ਮਨਮੁਖਿ, ਨਿਰਭਉ, ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਆਦਿ। ਸਿਧ ਗੋਸਟਿ ਲਿਖੇ ਜਾਣ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਇਸ ਸਾਰੀ ਸ਼ਬਦਾਵਲੀ ਦੀ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਸੰਤਾਂ ਭਗਤਾਂ ਦੀ ਬਾਣੀ ਵਿਚ ਖ਼ੂਬ ਵਰਤੀ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਿਧ ਗੋਸਟਿ ਦੀ ਬਾਣੀ ਗੁਰਮਤਿ ਦੇ ਜੋਗ ਮੱਤ ਨਾਲ ਚਾਰ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਕਿਲੋਮੀਟਰ ਦੀ ਲੰਬਾਈ ਚੌੜਾਈ ਵਾਲੇ ਇਸ ਭੂਖੰਡ ਵਿਚ ਤਕਰੀਬਨ ਚਾਰ ਸਦੀਆਂ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਹੋਏ ਸੰਵਾਦ ਦਾ ਗੁਰੂ ਨਾਨਕ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਸੰਵਾਦਨਾਮਾ ਹੈ।
