In this chapter, Bhai Gurdas Ji who was sent to Agra for Sikhi Perchar comes back to Amritsar along with the Sanggat. As they reach near the swollen river of Beas during the winter nights, Bhai Gurdas Ji hears a Gursikh singing, Gur Ka Bachan Basey Jee Naley, Jal Nhi Dubey.... Listening to this, Bhai Gurdas Ji keeps faith in the Gurbani and decides to cross the river without any boat. All the Sanggat walks across the river miraculously as the water resceded to knee height. As Bhai Ji reaches Goindwal, they see the children playing games and saying, 'If it pleases the Guru, so shall it be'. Listening to this, Bhai Ji understands that even the children of Goindwal understands the Will of Guru and prostrates before them. As they reach Amritsar, Sri Guru Arjan Dev Ji tells Bhai Ji on what has happened and immediately everyone in the Sanggat develops faith for Guru Ji. Later Bhai Ji discovers that Prithi Chand has been cunningly deceiving the Sanggat by claiming himself to be the Guru.

On 1st of Jeth 1767 Bikarmi (1710 CE), the dream and thirst of every Sikh to avenge the martyrdom of the Chhote Sahibzade was quenched when Nishan Sahib was raised over Sirhind and Wazir Khan punished to death. In order to achieve this mission, 6,000 Sikhs laid down their lives in this battle which marked the dawn of Khalsa Raj in Punjab.
