In this chapter, Bhai Gurdas Ji goes to Goindwal Sahib and meets his family and an anecdote where Bhai Ji is served with chickpea bread (the food of the poor)and they inquire to Guru Ji. Unsatisfied, Guru Ji tells Bhai Gurdas Ji to ask from his sister, Bibi Bhani Ji instead who tells that Prithi Chand and Mahadev have monopolised and are hell bent to convince the Sanggat that they are the real Guru.

On 1st of Jeth 1767 Bikarmi (1710 CE), the dream and thirst of every Sikh to avenge the martyrdom of the Chhote Sahibzade was quenched when Nishan Sahib was raised over Sirhind and Wazir Khan punished to death. In order to achieve this mission, 6,000 Sikhs laid down their lives in this battle which marked the dawn of Khalsa Raj in Punjab.
