Over the past 6 years WOLF Music have earned their stripes as stalwart purveyors of refined House and Disco. Now, in the follow up to Medlar and Greymatter’s debut LPs and EPs from the likes of Ishmael, Ossie and Casino Times they ready their 3rd LP from Dutchman Frits Wentink.

Now residing in Amsterdam, Frits has a glowing back catalogue of soulful, Lo Fi club material that’s touched Heist Recordings as well as WOLF in the form of his ‘Mouse’ and ‘Goose’ EPs. With an experimental approach to hardware and instrumentation, his work blooms naturally through jams and improv and in this - his debut LP: ‘Rarely Pure, Never Simple’ we see a development in this experimentation to enlivening effect.

Working with a meld of grubby samples, chunky percussion and the frequent vocal accompaniment of Utrecht based Loes Jongerling, Rarely Pure Never Simple is a journey through Frits’ influences forged into a cohesive pack of grooves and interludes tinged with a certain charming nostalgia.

Daktyl is a multi-instrumentalist with a diverse musical experience. A coveted sound across BBC Radio 1 & 1xtra over the past year, he’s also just completed a 32-date tour with Slow Magic and additional official remixes for heavy hitters such as Flosstradamus and Dirty South. Cyclical is a work of art from beginning to end and brings forth a unique sound, merging all modern genres with a futuristic approach, that we’ve all been hungering for but have yet to hear.

"My favorite set that we played this year at Burning Man was at Robot Heart. It was probably the only set that I really prepared for with Walshy Fire.

I'll be honest I was a lil nervous because I really wanted to make it run with energy for the full two hours and our typical audience isn't that used to a classic dub and reggae set. Myself and the whole RH crew wanted to create something really special for a sunset party and keep it true to the theme but to still feel like a Robot Heart set. The Robot Heart crew had told me that they wanted and entire set that sounded like "Major Lazer - Get Free" and I had to think hard about it. To keep the vibe going for two hours and for that record to be the climax was a challenge but I realized if you stick to your guns for the whole party and steer the audience in a direction and keep them with you, then anything is possible.  I hope you love it.. It's perfect for a party on a Sunday afternoon and represents a different side of Major Lazer"

Fans flock to Grande's multi-layered quotables and smoked-out ear for beats, and the MC's heavily anticipated My Brothers Keeper is his purest, most potent vision yet.

After throwing down the gauntlet with "Pull Up's Theme," GM offers up "The Formula," dropping bar after bar of that "real spill" he's renowned for, atop a moody, trunk-walloping beat from longtime collaborator Ben Pramuk (who handles production throughout the entire project).
