Introducing DJ Sonic!

Resident producer at E13 Music and engineer at RSN Studios.
Over the years Sonic has worked in the music industry, with a unique specialism in dance music. From the early days of house and hip-hop. through to drum and bass and dubstep, Sonic has constantly strived to provide a unique musical experience whatever the situation. 
With a background in studio & live sound production, DJ deck skills and an awesome live show 1998 saw DJ Sonic sign to Rumour Records with releases in Goa Trance and Acid Techno.
After a few years spent learning new techniques and tricks, 2018 sees DJ Sonic spreading the vibe to a whole new generation, with a blend of old school techniques with new school flair.  His funk & new music show on EarthDanceRadio "Sonic Selections" has been steadily growing in support over the last few years.

And to add to the mix, Sonic also features in Dishy Tangent. Playing bass, keyboards and anything that can make a noise Sonic also provides backing vocals. The band supported music legends The Beat at Live on The Lawn in 2016, at the Tyntesfield Estate in Bristol. The band have regular shows around London playing their brand of catchy feel good pop music.

In 2014 Sonic launched E13 Music offering live and recorded sound services for London and beyond. Look out for new productions coming soon on E13 Music from our home at RSN Studios.

Discovery, has been promoting emerging talent to the music Industry and public since 2003. Past performers include: Ed Sheeran, Scouting For Girls, The Guillemots, Dan Le Sac & Scroobius Pip, Nate James, Alice Russell, The Correspondents , Foy Vance, The Talks, Jazz Morley, Louise Golbey , Laid Blak and many more.

Bio:

Formed by Helena and Simon who met at a mutual friends party, London based Periscope View got together early in 2014 creating indie rock music, but in May 2014 the line up changed as the bass player left, so Ian took over and re-wrote those parts on the keys, adding another unique element to the music.

By June 2014, Periscope View had found their new sound, and have drawn comparisons to artists such as Morcheeba, Portishead, London Grammar, Sneaker Pimps, The XX and Sigur Rós. A couple of months later, Periscope View were spotted by industry podcast Chartburst and featured as one to watch.

After a year showcasing their sounds and working hard to create original, interesting and thoughtful songs alongside energetic performances, Summer 2015 brought the much anticipated release of The Grays Grown EP recorded at OneCat Studios, produced and mastered by Del Sajiwandani aka DJ Sonic.

The Grays Grown EP gave Periscope View the right attention from LoudUp and Tom Robinson and led to all manner of exciting gigs from festivals, community events and venues. 

Periscope View recorded their second EP Photographs, with Steve Honest in Hackney, which was released in January 2016. Crossing diverse styles and genres, this new body of work crosses diverse styles and genres, showcasing the bands strong, unapologetic musical identity forged from the unique harmony between organic and processed sounds.

The songwriting is the bands strongest to date with production that allows the individual musicians talents to shine.
