So, the other day I was playing this street racing game (it's the one in the video, and it's seriously fun and thrilling!https://youtu.be/NaLf7X812TY?si=hfsx1uVmWoVcz-bz). Also, check out the car I customized myself! What do you think? It's got my signature and a little cat graphic on it~
Later on, I discovered that you can actually import your own local music into the game. That immediately made me think of the Rally House genre, so I started creating this track. But I wanted to capture a real sense of speed, and the standard Rally House framework felt a bit too monotonous. So, I modified and innovated on the original formula a bit.
For example, the female vocal idea came to me right after I woke up. I sang it, sampled it, and then built the track's main structure around it. The final section gets a bit more experimental and deviates quite a bit from the original framework—so much so that I'm not even sure what genre I ended up with, but let's just call it Rally House (lollol).
Anyway, the whole goal of these modifications was to achieve an ultimate sense of speed, to match the high-speed visuals in my video.
But I gotta say, that last part really makes you want to dance. I actually did end up dancing to it myself (*/ω＼*).
