Sha-King is an up and coming indie artist on the road to mainstream success. The New York native prides himself in making good music, delivering a unique and versatile sound that he refers to as “radio hypnosis”. His sound brings life experiences to the crossroads where industry meets the streets. With musical influences like Prince, Jay-Z, & Michael Jackson, and experience working along side industry veterans like Harvey Scales and Bonecrusher, Sha-King has all of the pieces in place to shake up the music scene and make a lasting impact.
     “I am music, and lyrically, I’m a beast”, says Sha-King, whose name translates to ‘King of Kings’. Always on the grind, Sha-King is currently promoting his new single, “Touch a Bag.” As a nightlife promoter and producer, he has forged relationships with key influencers to keep his music spinning at the hottest spots along the east coast, including Atlanta, New York, Virginia, Milwaukee, and The Carolinas. Sha-King has cultivated a growing following with his non-stop work ethic, head nodding street music, and by frequently performing at clubs in different cities.
     Sha-King knew from very early in his life that music was his passion. It was his love of hip hop that pushed him into the spotlight with the release of his first album, ‘The 13th Jewel’ in 2005. Since then, he has released a follow up album, ‘Controlled Substance’, and strategically aligned himself with his goals, promoting clubs and building meaningful relationships.
Sha-King is no stranger to the daily grind that is required to be successful in the rap game. His new single, “Touch a Bag,” is an accurate representation of his goals to takeover music. Whether its nightlife, street life, or everyday life, Sha-King vows to deliver music that is authentic, relatable, and head nodding. “I’m not worried about other artists,” says Sha-King. “I am ready to catch my own wave.”
