I always found it challenging to record a studio podcast: my analytical mind is trying to calculate every move, evaluate each transition & criticize the selection. I have time, music & equipment at my disposal, but one key element is missing to really tell a story: humans.

I encountered that problem last weekend. Although I was playing music I enjoy, I felt that my technically structured mix was too stiff and impersonal.

Then, some of my favourite humans turned up at the studio. As Ashley, Apolline, Axel & Robin entered the room, the studio was suddenly filled with a great energy & I felt like pressing the rec button again, just for fun - this is when the first minutes of  S y m b i o s e  were captured.

I feel this studio mix is an authentic representation of the energy levels I like to navigate through during a longer set. It features some of my favourite tracks in a nod to the past but also has a touch of the future; new sounds that are moving me forward & some of my new compositions.

I’m happy to share this mix as I’m taking off for Argentina, what marks my first adventure of the decade. This music session brought me clarity, presence & joy! I hope you'll resonate with it.

The Inevitable Show - 004 - Dublew (Guest Appearance)

For our 11th episode of The Inevitable Show, we have invited the star of Pakistani electronic scene, Muhammad Faisal aka @stereomunk (https://soundcloud.com/stereomunk). Stereo Munk is one of the premier Producer and DJ rising from Pakistan. Since 2000 he has built his signature mix of electronic music into the evolution of what he mixes today. Never limiting himself to just one genre of music. He continually blends experimental sounds with fresh tracks to push the boundary of each mix.
To him, a great set isn't about playing a string of dance floor killers on repeat. Instead it's a journey that's always evolving and influencing the listener as it moves through different emotions and soundscapes. or two decades, Stereo Munk has been exploring the depths of electronic music, building his own signature sound which focuses on the journey and the stories of the underground. From his hometown in Islamabad Pakistan, he has been helping push the scene through his DJ mixes and productions. Releases on labels such as Zephyr Music, Clinique Recordings, 3xA Music, Massive Harmony, Soundteller and Big Bells Records showcase his Progressive perspective, with his mixes featuring his eclectic approach to the expansion of electronic music from a variety of genres.

His popular Artist of the Week set introduced him to the FRISKY audience, now he is hosting his own monthly show on FRISKY: STEREO TALES.

The Inevitable Show - 011- STEREO MUNK (GuestAppearance)

For the 12th episode of The Inevitable Show, we have Yawar Khan who will take you on a progressive journey. Yawar is new to the scene but has a very distinct taste and crafts his sets based on progressive melodies.

For the 13th episode of The Inevitable Show, we have a special guest appearance from Z aka Malik Zayed Awan (https://soundcloud.com/malik-zayed-awan). It was way back in 2014 when Z attended his first rave and heard Shelodon live at the Ministry of Sound. Mesmerised by the beats, he knew right away he wanted to be a DJ. Z began his journey listening and practicing at home. Nicolas Jaar, David August and Guy Gerber have been his mentors and he has been closely follwoing them through the years. His music style ranges from experimental techno to progressive house.

For a while now, Z has been podcasting for international labels from a number of countries. He loves crafting journeys for his listeners so those wanting to take a dive, be sure to check this artist out.

He has played alongside legends like Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, Guy J, Derrick May, Alex Niggemann, Anthony Parasole, Dave The Drummer, John 00 Flemming, Cid Inc. and others which demonstrates the importance of the history of this Brazilian artist, professional DJ since 1998.

Recognized worldwide through his "Hypnotic Session" podcast at the legendary Proton Radio, he is a great supporter of Progressive House and founder of the crew UniK ID, which brought names such as Nick Warren, Cid Inc and Darin Epsilon to Brazil.

In his mixes we observe totally coherent stories, adapted to the place and time, that induce the audience to a great sound trip.
