BASS driven, Math-Rock band from Kaosiung,Taiwan

Rooftops formed in Sacramento, California, heavily influenced by the sounds of Reggae, the band takes an organic approach often blending in elements of R&B and Soul music, among others. The band formed when members Brett Duewel (23) and Payton Rianda (24) met drummer Zack Kennedy (21). The trio had trouble finding a  consistent rehearsal space, so out of necessity, the band ventured out to various public locations that provided electricity. Eventually this led them to the top of a parking structure in the city where gathering fans then suggested to name the band "The Rooftop Trio". After the addition of Anthony Cambra (24), the band opted for the less restrictive name Rooftops. Rooftops is "passionate about the heart and soul in music and bringing good people together."
