Born & raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania where Scotty Mac, aka Xcapaid, first began to discover his deep connection to music, he grew up listening to everything he possibly could from every genre available.  Still based in Pittsburgh today – the wild sounds of Xcapaid make use of Scotty Mac’s intense knowledge of music and reflect the passion of a man who has had music at his side at every moment throughout his life.  Incorporating the influences, ideas & sounds that resonated strongly within him growing up – Xcapaid has super-charged them, jump-started them back to life and created his own authentic & signature style of Electro.
Backed by the 200 Proof Record Label, Xcapaid has put in the hard-work and tireless-efforts over days & nights into refining his craft & style to electro-perfection.  Releasing several singles online through audio/video, Xcapaid has already generated a massive buzz within the electro-circuit among fans, peers & critics alike, all highly anticipating the release of a full album to come.  Hitting the studio hard over the end of 2014/early 2015 – Xcapaid has continued to pursue the dream at top-speed and committed himself to making this upcoming album an extensive representation of all of the best that he brings to Electro-music.
