Piano and Orchestra, through music depicts the Haudenosaunee (Iroquois) Confederacy, formed c.1142. The Confederacy emerged from the Great Law of Peace, compiled by Dekanawidah the Great Peacemaker, Hiawatha, and Jigonsaseh the Mother of Nations. For nearly 1000 years, the Six Nations/Haudenosaunee Confederacy have been a powerful factor in North America. Long Play Dance. The main thematic material for this work comes from a jazz quartet consisting of Trombone, Piano, Upright Bass, and percussion. It was slow and rather an art-Jazz piece. Using that material composed by me in 2010, I asked AI at suno.com to help create a techno mashup and this is the result.  I further modified the three separate pieces suno.com created and using Studio added tracks from the original theme by trombone, which is heard a few times being repeated within the work. This resulted in a longer piece - strung together of the three tracks Suno arranged, plus a track which included some material from the original rendering.

Piano Solo, Classical Impromptu, originally composed by Mark Bloss in 2008 as a guitar with Piano accompaniment chamber work, with the original title of "Tea at the Lake", and later transformed into a solo Piano Impromptu, renamed "Picnic Impromptu", before reworking it at suno.com with a fresh arrangement.

This Lullaby includes two original compositions by Mark Bloss; one from 2010 was part of a suite of works called Suite of the Week, this one being "Friday" (the second theme) and the first theme is brand new, composed in November 2025 and consists of a single motif, both very clearly work well together.  Suno.com and its Studio functions were highly valuable in rendering this final version. Another piano version exists but only this version is publicly available at this time.

A small red pencil was with my father's belongings when I received them after his passing in 2005. I do not know the significance of the pencil, but he kept it 50 years. It is pictured here.

Carmine Red 745 Impromptu

Amethyst Fantasy for Piano and Orchestra, is a merging of two untitled original compositions by Mark Bloss composed around 2012; except I had written "Amethyst" across the top of a page from one, and in Sibelius created a partial score with mostly pitched percussion.  I used the tools available at suno.com to first produce covers for each of the works independently, then combined using suno.com's Studio, and remastering tools to produce this final listenable version.
