Inspired by the vibes of Stay Cool Radio, Jusss Listen Radio, Above Ordinary Mix Radio, The Soul Diaries, First Ear Radio, and NIGHT DRIVES, Instant Vintage is deeply influenced by the sounds of the Soulquarians, D'Mile, J Dilla, Dwele, Lauren Faith, The Neptunes, and Robin Hannibal, to name a few. His Instant Vintage Radio program has been a love letter in the form of a mélange of soul, jazz, hiphop, & r&b vibes emanating worldwide, and his annual Summer Sounds & Cover Lover mix serials are the culmination of top-shelf soulful house grooves & covers-driven reinterpretations of his favorite r&b jams.

DJ Icy Ice of the World Famous Beat Junkies has amassed a resume that spans over two decades of performing on the world’s biggest stages & gracing the airwaves on LA’s Top Radio Stations: Power 106 & 92.3 The Beat. Icy Ice’s artistry has been showcased at  music festivals, celebrity private events, corporate conventions, TEDx Talks & the hottest club venues throughout the US and Internationally.

●Lawrence is a vast music collector and a hobbyist DJ.

●Lawrence was born and raised in Kampala – Uganda East Africa. He started collecting and playing music as early as high school, throughout college/university and continued to follow his passion of sharing experiences through music.   

● Lawrence was inspired and trained by DJ HannyB of the former SM sounds and later Shure Sounds. 

●He played through college and high school dances and other areas like Nabinonya Entebbe,  Heritage park and later worked with Club East Enders on Namirembe road ( Old Kampala)

● Even after graduating as an educationist & Human rights activist,  Lawrence continued playing and collecting music as a hobby. 

● Lawrence has a soft spot for Old-school music, Soul,  classics, oldies, Jazz, Afro beats, RnB and Dance hall. 

●Later in life
 Lawrence relocated and he is now living in Chicago north western area, IL USA. 

●Together with other friends, they formed the AFROBASE CREW CHICAGO an umbrella entertainment event entity of DJs, Photographers, event Planners, caterers, decorators and more …. That serve the great Chicago area and states around the Midwest. (Wisconsin, Ohio, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri and more)

●Lawrence is also the CEO and Director of DJ LAWRENCE SERVICES, a private company that provides Sound, Lighting and does weddings, anniversaries, club events, birthdays, graduations and more.  {BOOKINGS +1-815-219-1608}

●He is a perfectionist that loves great sound, professionalism, team work and learning from other DJs.
