UNDO is the name I use for my solo performances and recordings. 

In UNDO, I play “unguitar” – a rather nerdy term I made up in 1992 to describe my approach to my ambient guitar playing. The term tries to capture two ideas for me: 1) that in UNDO I try to just follow instincts rather than "do" ideas; and 2) while I play guitar, what you hear doesn’t really sound like a guitar as I use little pedals and delays to make very un-guitar-like sounds.
 
Generally, my themes slowly evolve and intertwine, allowing a listener to use the music as a soundtrack to the images playing in their head. I like it when listeners have their own mental imagery to accompany their experience of this music. I like to slow things down. The time between when things happen makes this magical space I like to hold open as long as I can.
 
I've made it an ongoing project to record music on various fun dates.... 01.01.01, 02.02.02, 03.03.03, 04.04.04, 05.05.05, 06.06.06, 07.07.07, 08.08.08, 09.09.09, 10.10.10, 11.11.11, 12.12.12, 1.3.13, 1.4.14, 1.5.15 -- and more. :)

So, as you can imagine, I have many hours of UNDO music recorded, and I plan to update the tracks here periodically. If you want to hear something new, just send me a message.

If you want more, I'm sure we can make arrangements for a CD or two.

FANTASTIC NEGRITO

...is the incarnation of a musician who is reborn after going through a lot of awful shit. In fact, the name Fantastic Negrito represents his third rebirth, literally coming back from death this time. The narrative on this man is as important as the sound, because the narrative is the sound. Songs born from a long hard life channeled through black roots music. Slide guitar, drums, piano. Urgent, desperate, edgy. Fantastic Negrito is the story of a man who struggled to “make it”, who “got it”, who lost it all, and somehow managed to find his way back. These are singular songs by a true musician who writes and produces his own work. His songs are his fuel as he continues on the third comeback of his life, at a time when our world is in upheaval.
