IZIPHO SOUL are thrilled to announce their next release: Early 80s music from New Jersey of the highest order and a first time re-release on a 45.
IF YOU WANT MY LOVIN’ is a synth-soul boogie bomb that we’ve taken to another level. The ‘Sunshine Mix’ by Philip Ward - miraculously restructured - giving it the feel of a 12” but keeping it under 5 minutes, the instrumental break in the latter stages is simply stunning. 
The sublime flip ‘HARDLY NEED TO SAY’, hardly needs an introduction. 
Whilst the Rhodes and intricate guitars weave their way throughout the track, June’s vocals shine with passion and power.

Written and recorded by Me Again, ‘Last Night’ is an emotionally driven track written about the control one person can have over a relationship. Although you know that it is toxic, you cant help but keep going back. With dance driven beats, airy synths, funk style guitar riffs and dreamy vocals, ‘Last Night' perfectly captures those late night thoughts one experiences whilst wrapped around someones finger. The songwriting is powerful and the production is flawless - it’s a diverse track that allows for easy bedroom listening yet has the ability to transport you to the dance floor. 

This diversity comes at no surprise with influence’s such as Rufus Du Sol, Bob Moses and Disclosure, which can be heard throughout. 

Me Again’s previous single, ‘Let Me Go’, clocked at over 50,000 streams on Spotify and can be found in Wave Of Good Noise, Discovery Weekly and Fresh Finds playlists.

Speaking on 'Devils', Natalie shared:

"Devils is essentially about allowing yourself every one in a while to give into emotions that are traditionally seen as negative, and that’s okay, because we are only human and need to experience and accept these feelings to be whole. I think giving someone the space and support to say anything and everything they are experiencing or thinking and for that also to be ok is an amazing way to accept and move on, in a way it’s taking away the stigma and shame of these feelings and turning the experience into something positive that will make you stronger."

Making her first steps into music when she won a national song writing competition judged by Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, Natalie McCool has excelled.

Releasing her album ‘The Great Unknown’ in 2016, it has made tastemakers across the board fans of her exceptional art, with notable supports with Aurora & Jamie Lawson, & acclaim from The Sunday Times, Q, Pigeons & Planes & Wonderland as well as BBC Radio 1 DJs Huw Stephens & Alice Levine.

Fully wrapped up, her forthcoming album is a fine collection of songs which channel her raw, inimitable writing style. Partly co-written with The Wombats' Daniel Haggis, they capture and crystallize her memories from both childhood and adulthood, weaving deeply intimate stories that channel life's most vital thoughts and feelings like love, jealousy and loss into a skewed mixture of lilting yet gloriously catchy pop songs.

MIMS is delighted to premiere “Come Inside”, the second single lifted from Italian pianist, composer and producer, Nicola Guida’s forthcoming ‘Speleology’ album, due for release early next year on Inner Circle Music, the prestigious US label headed by sax legend Greg Osby. 

“Come Inside” is a laid back exploration of jazz and hip hop, featuring Karnival Kid on MC duties. His nonchalant yet powerful delivery recalls Loyle Carner, and flows beautifully over Guida’s delicate playing, melting the notes of his piano into a seamless harmonic stream. Soothing flutes provide the melodic line throughout, with additional production adding layers of sonic richness.

A disciplined virtuoso and a freethinking, genre-bending pianist, Nicola Guida is a London-based Italian jazz pianist, composer and producer. Academician at heart - he's the author of two respected thesis on jazz and holds a Masters in Philosophy. On “Come Inside”, Nicola tells us "I'm so delighted to release this tune which contains a sample of one of my heroes, legendary Italian composer Piero Piccioni".

“Come Inside” will be released on November 27 on all digital platforms.
