Our final premiere of the week has landed just in time for the weekend and Kildare DJ & producer Scordor treats us to a little slice of Detroit inspired techno as Free Download. Scordor leans on weighty drum grooves alongside classy chord stabs and a jacking vocal hit, for a pounding piece of techno funk.

Scordor‘s latest techno offering is one of his best yet, and to sweeten the deal it’s out for a Free Download. The track see’s the young producer showcase his love for Detroit style techno, with a focus on modern power and production value.

Scordor has been an artists that has been on the rise within the last 12 months. A flurry of self released techno tools have helped him showcased his ecelectic taste in the world of techno. Having come up in the school of Hangar clubbing days, Scordor’s lust for techno exploration has always been fuelled by the dancefloor.

Scordor has been digging deep and trying to curate a scene in his hometown of Kildare, DJing in venues not normally associated with dance music. Scordor recently made his Cellar debut supporting Jon Hussey for the Embedded takeover where he got the chance to showcase his prowess in high-octane techno cuts.

Scordor’s latest track is a perfect blend of raw power, dancefloor nostalgia, and fine crafted production. Tough and funked up rhythms lay the foundation for infectious Detroit chord stabs alongside jacking vocals and jarring percussion. An essential tool for any techno DJ this weekend.

HUJUS is a Haarlem based techno artist who likes to take you on energetic night club journeys. His name is an abbreviation for the Latin word ‘Hujus Pace' which means ‘prevailing calm/inner peace' and let this be the mental state he takes you to during your interactions with his craft. At the age of 3, HUJUS started playing the piano and got exposed to many different genres like Pop, RnB and Jazz. His interest in electronic music started at the age of 14 when he started his first artistic project as an electronic producer and DJ in the Future Bass and Electronic Pop scene. But after many years of performing in night clubs, HUJUS finally came to life in 2022. With his modern and structured techno sound he had an amazing debut year with shows at e.g., Sneeuwbal Festival, Het Sieraad, Patronaat Haarlem which eventually led to his debut EP which came out in early 2023 on Autektone Dark.
