Crayons In My Pocket 2014

I got crayons in my pocket, that my daughter gave to me,
Beautiful as her momma, and abnoxious as daddy,
She's two years old, sky blue eyes,
Cheesy smile and white blonde hair,
We make a scene as we run through aisles,
And hop down flights of stairs
She loves to turn the music on, and dance in daddys arms,
Crawls in my bed, or in my lap, and helps me play guitar,
She sings real loud just like her dad, and strums the strings too hard,
but I can't get mad, no I just laugh,
So proud of my star,
We wave at planes, and talk  to cats,
Kiss each others owies and all of that,
Now I'm working three weeks with no days off, 
And when daddys baby says, MP work more,
I wanna be like... Fuck it... I'm out...
So there  I was bout to get off lunch, reach for my phone but instead,
I pulled her favorite color orange out my pocket, then when to my boss and said...

I got crayons in my pocket,
That my two year old girl tries smoke,
We hide our laughs and tell her no, but she wants to be just like us so..
So I hope you see, why I must leave,
There's somewhere else I'd rather be,
I may not seem to have a lot.

Now the man you see ain't the man I was, not that long ago...
A loud ass boy and real shy girl, completely separate roads,
She was raised in church and raised in love, him, from a broken home,
When he took a chance and took her hand, she refused to let it go...
Of he tried to leave, you wouldn't believe how hard he tried,
But she'd just cry at his feet, she believed in the man inside,
And somehow these kids found true love,
He taught her strength and she taught him trust,
Bout a year later, married bout to have a baby,
Had three g's saved but you know how life get crazy, 
In the same week, both cars blow up,
So I went and got job selling cars and trucks,
Seventy hours a week, financial peek, 
But hardly see my best friend,
After seven months, I just had to walk, when the boss called up I said...

I got crayons in my pocket,
And a red head wife whose hair ain't red,
She said it was the first five years,
She knew it was my favorite...
So I hope you see, why I must leave,
There's somewhere else I'd rather be,
I may not seem to have a lot.

And people I ain't afraid to love at home,
So you can take this time and a half, and shove it right straight up your, 
Nose... Or your ass...
