Im just getting things
 going with this first track. Im editing more as I type this and will ensure to have a steady flow of songs.

I record all the drums, any synth, guitar , bass, and I try to sing.

With 20 years of live/touring and studio/recording experience, 21 solo/band releases, contibutor/guest on 14 releases, and numerous soundtrack placements you can't just point to a single song or release and conclude that that's what Peter X Anthony is about. His music is a buffet to be explored and tasted.

Hard Rock, Shred, Progressive, Country, Latin, Blues, Metal, Pop, Surf, Punk, Experimental, Improvised, Trance, Electronica, Fusion, Acoustic..., and beyond.

Along the way he has devloped his own unique sound, style and approach and continues to expand with each new release. Probably the biggest challenge he has
faced during his career is dealing with record companies that want releases with 13 songs that basically all sound the same rather tham PXA's approach which is more about variety and concept. He is truly a six-string schizophrenic that defies all genres or labels. 

The past 20 years have seen PXA reach assorted pinnacles of success that we could talk about for the next hour but he would prefer not to live in or gloat about those 
achievments believing you are only as good as your next show or cd. He prefers hanging in the shadows and has shunned several attempts/occasions to be placed front and centre in the public eye, preferring to leave that to the pretty people with insatiable ego's that need feeding and stroking.

Peter X Anthony is Rock & Roll!He is by far one of the most diverse and prolific songwriters/guitarists in Canada. We challenge you to sample a bit  of each of his releases and then tell us who has covered more ground musically in this country. The fans and followers he has aqquired over the years remain loyal and still anticipate every new release. Guitarists still seek any pearls of wisdom he might offer although PXA claims to not understand, "what all the fuss is about".

Since entering this life long rollercoaster he has seen the many changes to the business over the years. He has watched rock & roll die, interest in live performance dwindle, 
artists and music groomed strictly for profit and 90 second sound bytes, (which is about how long a career in music lasts now), video dumbing down the last couple generations
of teenagers, the art of songwriting fade into one or two note drones over drum machines that are so compressed they're not really listenable, the radio isn t even worth turning on anymore  and finally...,the implication that unless your young and beautiful, (and moldable), there is no chance of ever breaking into the business regardless of talent. 

So here we are in 2012 and PXA is on a mission. Currently recording his 21st cd, "KEEPING ROCK & ROLL ALIVE", he is preparing to do exactly that. 
He is working toward bridging the musical gap between himself and the average teenager who will never know what rock an roll is, was or could be. This time around he is hoping to achieve some success to prove that at 40 something a person can "make it" and still be viable, pertinent and a link between then and now.
We believe if anyone can pull this off PXA can and we back him 100%. Stay tuned folks. It should be a good ride.
