Syed Zill e Raza Zaidi was born in Karachi division of the province Sindh, Pakistan. He was born to a family of descendant of Hazrat Zaid e Shaheed a.s in Shia Muslim community on 2nd of Sept. 1983. He is a third sibling of one brother and one sister, and being the youngest in the family he has been raised and nourished with all the love and care. At the age of 7, he had the capability to read his first Noha obverse public at an immense Majlis (gathering). Zill e Raza’s primary education began at “Bright Little Stars” and passed his Matriculation from “New Rehbar-e-Taleem School”, Karachi in 19--. He continued his studies and graduated as the bachelor of commerce from  “Wafaqi Urdu University of Karachi”.

Zill-e-Raza’s father Syed Zill e Sadiq Zaidi is also a renowned religious poet as well as an illustrious scholar, and a large number of Nauhas are to his credit.

An apple doesn’t fall away from its tree is a perfect example for Zill e Raza’s family as his elder brother Syed Zill-e-Saqlain Zaidi also followed the footsteps of his father and became a famed religious poet and scholar.
