Shaikiid is a fly ass young nigga from drug town California. With a diverse palette of sounds, I attempt to create music of any and all genres that is possible to the best of my abilities. I’ve never been a type of person to put myself in a box, or allow for my capabilities to be limited by anything, living or not. I use music as a form of escapism from the unflattering, and often times ideologically oppressive and divisive society we live in today.  Most of my work is curated as an exaggerated hyperbole from my creative mind, however I always make sure to only draw inspiration from my real life experiences. Which is why I’ve been trying to be more open about myself in all of my music lately, and why I’m writing this out now. 

When this all started, it was just me and some friends trying to learn how to freestyle, and create some moments that would last our memories a lifetime. Thrill seeking and carefree about the world around us. I’ve always hoped to inspire others to feel empowered and take control in fulfilling the wishes of their hearts’ greatest desires, as I do myself.
