Fresh from lending his sublime scalpel skills to Editorial as part of the label's latest multi-artist extravaganza, C Da Afro returns to Disco Fruit with another tasty two-track missive. The Grecian producer is in predictably fine form on chunky, bass-heavy opener "Music Is Love", where dubbed-out vocal snippets, jazzy guitar motifs, swirling strings and fuzzy organ riffs cluster around a rubbery, all action disco-house groove. "Sugar Love" is an altogether more synth heavy beast, with C Da Afro applying his successful formula - all beefed-up bottom end and excitement building filter sweeps - to a dazzling slab of colourful '80s Euro-boogie goodness.

COEO are back on Toy Tonics! After uninterrupted touring around the globe, followed by a short creative break the guys come back with an even stronger sound. With the new EP they go more underground again. Its addressed to the clubs and night owls out there, who turn night into day and won't stop dancing!

The sound is based on classic house patterns and includes a lot of cool saxophones, big piano stabs & rhythmic piano solos. They even go tribal, use arpeggios and switch into breakbeat heaven. The four Originals are a great next step in the COEO evolution. The unique warm, catchy atmosphere of the tracks can create that special COEO euphoria which made them a lot of fans. From Moodymann to Disclosure, Mall Grab to Kenny Dope, the list is long.

It’s fantastic to see how popular they became over the last couple of years. The last COEO vinyl sold over 2500 copies and some of their tracks have millions of Spotify plays. It’s DJ FOOD. Pure bliss!

The MUSHROOM HOUSE compilation is a collection of balearic, afro and cosmic disco tracks that have been released on several Toy Tonics EPs over the last 5 years. Toy Tonics now releases some of these EPs on a double vinyl together. This is the second part. Featuring eleven tracks. (Vol 1 was released in 2020.)

Original tracks and remixes by friends of the label: Kiwi, Red Axes,  Karl Hector, Hugo Capablanca, Harry Wolfman. Very special contributions by New York's legendary Joe Claussell and fashion designer Marcelo Burlon, who contributed the vocals to a song by Milan’s Barking Dogs. Art Alfie from Studio Barnhus is featured also with an exclusive track and legendary DJ Sprinkles with a magic rework of a Hard Ton song.

A few of the tracks had been already released on Gomma records. The now sleeping indie-electronica label that was the „mother“ of Toy Tonics records. Some were made exclusively for Toy Tonics.

After a wafting deep house collab with fellow Italian Berlin resident Ruff Stuff, Black Loops (Ricardo Paffetti) brings Shall Not Fade a third EP of rolling, danceable house of the highest calibre. Paffetti has built a reputation as a creative, high-class producer and does not disappoint on Circulation EP - the Shall Not Fade regular makes tribute to classic Italian house while adding a futuristic, unique spin. 

The 5-tracker opens with Mike The Dog. It’s a crazy electro-garage hybrid that foregrounds frenetic drum loops, while soft lofi chords give way to a disco-like bassline, starting the record off lightheartedly. Title track Circulation hits with a syncopated kick and dubbed out vocals that swirl in your head, contrasting a smooth, darker sound design made for sunset dancing. Paffetti perfects a meticulous sound palette across the B-side. From Banana 20, a pacey track lead by its squelching bassling, to Dream2gether - gliding lead synth, trading spotlights with the echoed vocal - these are love songs for the dancefloor. The EP closes out to Danse sur L’Hardcore, a pumping beast of a house track studded with sparkling chord stabs and g-funk synth trills.
