Big Miz returns to storied Manchester based imprint Dansu Discs by way of a weighty five track EP titled ‘Heartfelt Nonsense’.

The EP kicks off with ‘Glass In My Hand’ in collaboration with Bemz. A deep house tinged, groove laden beat accented with hip hop vocals it sets the mood for an EP loaded with four to the floor goodness. The deepness continues via ‘All The Time’; a track that utilises the classic sounds of Chicago with a Glaswegian twist. ‘Acid Dreams’ is up next doing exactly what it says a on the tin, subtle acid lines dancing across heady, dream-like synths to create an exceptionally versatile piece of dance music sure to be heard in multiple contexts in the coming months. Into the second half of the EP Big Miz goes in on ‘Green Baldy’, again using hip hop samples he puts together a no-nonsense floor filling jackin’ track to move your body. Wrapping up another incredibly impressive EP from the Dansu Discs crew we have ‘Yes’, a suitable closer that completes yet another memorable collection of tracks from one of the UK’s most consistent producers.

Rawdio joins the Feedasoul Records family with his latest two-tracker. 'Love You So' cuts deep with bottom-heavy drums interlaced with percussion for that additional movement. Intense piano chords and heartfelt vocals tie the track together, resulting in a track that can be simply described as beautiful. On the flipside, 'It Takes a While'' incorporates a four to the floor driving rhythm section, swinging hi-hats and cymbal rides that are further supported by heart-warming piano chords and soul-stirring vocals.

The MacLo boys are back on Rhythm Department Records with a cracking 4 track EP entitled ‘Not Here For Palm Trees’. 4 quality house cuts bound to make your heads bop and your knees wobble.

The EP opens with the ever lively ‘Understand’. Clever use of loose drums and shabby chord stabs result in an admirable little house number.

‘Do You Freak It’ incorporates catchy vocals, horn stabs and dancing synth melodies for a fresh take on garage house.

‘E-Mode’ Is inspired by nights in Glastonbury’s NYC Downlow. Jackin’ drums, and soulful vocals make it that perfect secret weapon for late night dark spaces.

‘Wont Let You Get Away’ is the sleaziest MacLo track to date. Bumping raw drums, a sleazy synth line and soaring vocals make the perfect recipe to take down and dirty to a new level.
