Oliver Blanco is an electronic music artist hailing from the South Side of Chicago, IL. Drawing inspiration from both his Mexican heritage and his urban upbringing, Blanco's music reflects a unique blend of cultural influences.
Growing up, Blanco was heavily influenced by the sounds of Chicago's house music pioneers, as well as contemporary R&B artists like Summer Walker and SZA. He also draws inspiration from 90's hip-hop and R&B, as well as Latin artists like Rauw Alejandro and cumbia groups like Celso Pina and Los De Akino.
For Blanco, making and performing music is a true passion. He cites music as a safe space for self-expression, a place where he can let go and simply let the music flow through him. With his music, Blanco aims to share his unique sound with others, hoping to inspire and move listeners with his house basslines and rhythms.
As an artist, Blanco is constantly seeking out new influences and ways to push the boundaries of his sound. He is known for his ability to blend genres seamlessly, creating a dynamic and constantly evolving house sound that is all his own. Whether performing as a DJ or producing his own tracks, Blanco is always striving to share his passion for music with the world.
