Another release from Paris based Coquelicot Records. Frantz, member of the crew from the beginning, delivers his debut EP « Elevator Music » : 4 tracks relying on what has been his main inspirations over the years: jazz, melancholia and deep house, including an oustanding remix by artist Michael Diamond.

The EP was built around a journey in a building starting on the ‘Rooftop’ with a percusive and housy track with some saxophone samples giving a warm atmosphere to it.
Then the elevator takes us down to the ‘First Floor´, synonym of this moment when you leave the party and find yourself thinking of all the good moments that you just spent. A nostalgic and melancholic groove in this track that will take you somewhere else.
Finally, it is time to leave this building by the ‘Basement’. You take your car, your bike, your motorcycle,... in order to go home. Some smooth notes from the rhodes to give a lounge feeling to this track.

Fourth track is a remix of ‘First Floor’ from rising producer Michael Diamond. An amazing reinterpretation of the second track with subtle additions on the rythmics and the piano which gives the track a warmer vibe.

Fresh from recent releases on Steaw's House Puff, and Cinthie’s We_R_House and 803 Crystal Grooves, Emanuele Macagnone, better known as Manuold, continues to solidify his sound and cement his position within the European deep house scene. Golia kicks off combining an addictive bass groove with slick chord stabs, slowly building into a syncopated, stripped back climax. Next up is Drop Bass Beat, an intently raw dub track which oozes a very well - executed vintage house sound. Last up is Bagolino, based around an infectious bass rhythm and lush chords, this one evolves and builds through arpeggiated synth notes and tight snare shuffles.
