‘Camargue’ gets a fresh treatment on Drumcode, as a handful of techno’s finest give new life to an R&S classic.
Coming from the studio of CJ Bolland and Portuguese journeyman The Advent, the track was born out of a golden age of Belgium dance music and first released in 1992.

Enrico Sangiuliano delivers a trademark cosmic rework underlined by tribal bass stabs and twisted synth lines to accompany the famous riff. It’s an outstanding remake that’s already a big summer favourite for the Drumcode crew.

João Braga alias J G B @jgbmusic from Niterói in Rio de Janeiro is delivering the second vinyl release for Enbeezee.
"Gyra", a makeover of his most viral hit, is featured on the A-Side merging Brazilian folklore of the 70s with delicate electro. The legendary sample of the track shines through but the delayed and skippy drums and mystical pads give the track a new form.
Second on the A-Side is the Han Duo Dub, which takes the track up in tempo and transforms it into a deep dance-floor groover with big 808s and ever-emerging FM percussions.
On the B Side, Joao portraits his most recent ambient and tribal electro sound with the track "Susto Na Praça". This track takes you to the jungle with shuffled percussions in an atmosphere of reverb tails and drones. 
The EP stands as an homage to the Condomblé and Umamba culture from Bahia, hence the red & black cover, with Art by J G B's friend and artistic companion Bóris Rodrigues.

J G B has been playing around Brasil on festivals like Voodoohop, Heliodora or Sujo in Brasília as well as having played the legendary party series Mamba Negra. He has released several records on European labels and is working constantly on his live show with an MPC1000 the centerpiece within several synths and modular instruments.

Kickin’ off with infectious, 2-step energy ‘Hooked On You’ is a poppin’ jam for hazy days and sunkissed dancefloors. Next up ‘Facettes’ takes retro elements and gives them new life in this glorious funk-filled, swinging cut. Taking it up a notch on, ‘Bad To The Bone’ is a chunky house pumper with all the right ingredients - stripped back vocals, swirly synths, piano stabs - dancing over a killer groove. Techy B2 ‘Jode Lade’ nod to DJOKO’s musical upbringing. Bouncy and minimal, his most stripped back offering on the EP but still prime dancefloor heat. DIGI BONUS. In The Zone rounds out the EP on a similar note, bursting with raw 90’s textures to get lost in.

All the way from Bogota, Colombia’s Felipe Gordon delivers a multi-dimensional EP to Shall Not Fade’s Lost Palms imprint. A wealth of influences come together on this varied release, it’s 4 tracks blossoming from roots in funk, soul and house music.

Kicking off the release, ‘The Júpiter Song’ is lounge house at it’s finest. Slick simple beats with jazz infused drums pave the way for A2’s, woozy piano house cut ‘Hey, Keep Going’. A multi-faceted release, the reverse sees Felipe Gordon flexing his heavier production hand. Sticky thumper ‘Acid Horizontal Polka’ is a chunkier affair; acid lines, thick kicks interspersed with chords and disorientating vocals. Rounding out the EP, ‘Snake Jazz’ transports the listener far away with funk-filled bass licks and serpentine percussion.

After their incredible DFTD debut ‘Force’ in 2019, a record that garnered attention from the likes of Skream, The Black Madonna and Demuir, Catz ‘n Dogz return to the imprint with their latest offering ‘Inner Revolution’, a storming two-track delivery. The release opens with ‘Revolution’, a gloriously bumpy and rave-ready cut, the stomping bassline and vivid synths married together by the track’s unwavering groove. Followed by the equally impressive ‘Inside’, classic piano house riffs are spun over a surging bass to give the record its euphoric quality. Proving themselves as a production force to be reckoned with, this pair of adrenaline and emotion-fuelled cuts continue to instate Catz ‘n Dogz as one of the most dynamic acts around.
