Following standout appearances on Feel My Bicep, Unknown To The Unknown, and E-MISSIONS, Irish-born DJ/producer Cromby hits Rekids with a four-track EP of crisp techno cuts. Heavily utilising the sound of hardware across the release, ‘Twisted Future EP’ sees Cromby explore the depths of these classic sound palettes over robust techno frameworks. 

‘IXP-42’ brings crunching drums and wiggling synths together for over two minutes, building tension before eventually, the much-awaited bassline comes in thick and fast. ‘Follow The Bass’ brings a dose of the unusual to proceedings, with snaking FM leads modulating throughout a maze of sizzling percussion.

On the flip, Bleep meets Baltimore on ‘Relief’, with meaty acid lines, vocals and clattering drums sparring with each other across the track, while ‘Vortex’ rounds off the release, with bright shimmering stabs peppering the stomping drums and distinct squelch of the 303.

Or perhaps to a dimly lit basement, getting your top off as sound cascades off of concrete walls. 'Diablo' moves in unexpected directions, and you quickly realise you can relax and trust it to make you feel extremely good. Chat Noir Tools est le nouvel espace d’expérimentation de Chat Noir Distribution qui va permettre de mettre en avant de nombreux producteurs talentueux de la scène actuelle, tout en gardant un fort attachement au club et aux dancefloors.

Vitess inaugure cette série avec un EP varié qui présente un large éventail de ses influences. De la house au breakbeat en passant par la early trance le producteur démontre son attachement aux sonorités 90’s. Issu de la bouillonnante scène parisienne et au sein de Chevry Agency, Vitess s’est fait un nom grâce à ses performances live où, derrière ses machines, il communique une énergie significative et une connaissance accrue du dancefloor.

L’EP s’ouvre avec Konbino, un track hypnotique et puissant aux forts accents UK garage des années 90. En Cas d’Urgence est quant à plus rapide avec une bassline galopante et des synthés aériens et mélodiques. De l’autre côté, la face B s’ouvre avec Le Beau Jeu, titre éponyme de l’EP. On est ici dans une inspiration 90’s aux accents raves. Un track qui promet sueur et émotions sur le dancefloor. Enfin, le disque se clôture avec Dernier Tour, un breakbeat puissant et une lead acid qui ne laisseront personne indemne dans la foule !
