Opening the release is ‘Closer (Pleasant Powermix)‘, a driving number with pulsating synth tones and deep rhode stabs.   Nico Lahs ‘U Fit Mix‘ feels instantly familiar, if not almost its closely related deeper, distant cousin. Many will recognize its meditative musings, but here it's been re-contextualized into some true deep house. ‘Summed Up Taken Away‘ opens the B side with a DJ-ready club killer! Classic chords, tough basslines, hype sax riffs and swangin’ drums.

Next up on our mix series is one of our resident DJs, Gerdaze.

Currently residing in Melbourne but originating from Cork, Ireland.

Gerdaze has a love for old-school/ 90s deep house music but also has an ear for the broader ranges of house and other genres. He was bred into the scene from a very young age, getting a set of turntables and a box of house records at the age of 9. From there, religiously listening to the infamous Sir henrys "sweat" mix  tapes and the likes of the  Fish go deep radio podcast set the tone.
Later on attending fish go deep's monthly resident slot in the pavilion nighclub in cork city, which opened the door to discovering house legends like kerri chandler, mood ll swing, ron trent and Omar s, these were some of the artists which influenced the sound that he loves and keeps going back to.
His love for the scene only keeps thriving as the years go on, exploring different sounds in different countries and now experimenting in producing his own music.

FINNEST brings us a new release, "ITS TOO LATE" by Mesquitas & Danny (AT), in its third reference, second of its "Underground Series" division, it is an original cut accompanied by a remix by the talented Philipp Lichtblau. The Original cut is an obvious example of the quality that Rafa and Danny have accustomed us to, very elegant deep house with a super sensual vocal and a subtle rhythm perfect for heating up the club floor at the beginning of the night. In the remix we have Philipp, who after having signed on labels like HedZup or Rendr presents us with a more minimalist version of It's Too Late, with a deeper bassline, a more extended dynamic and a happy groove that makes you move your foot uncontrollably and inevitably. Without a doubt, this maxi is a piece worthy of collecting.
