Will Buck teams up with Tilman to bring you some raw and 90s styled house banger with a remix from Nico Lahs. Opening the release is ‘Closer (Pleasant Powermix)‘, a driving number with pulsating synth tones and deep rhode stabs.   Nico Lahs ‘U Fit Mix‘ feels instantly familiar, if not almost its closely related deeper, distant cousin. Many will recognize its meditative musings, but here it's been re-contextualized into some true deep house. ‘Summed Up Taken Away‘ opens the B side with a DJ-ready club killer! Classic chords, tough basslines, hype sax riffs and swangin’ drums.

'Elfin Glamour' is a delicate balance of feel-good melancholia, as the Berlin-based synth wiz comes forward with innovative sample flips over intricate melodies, as per usual. The EP includes 'Deep Trance City' and 'Girl Who Dreamed Tomorrow', two unearthed DAT recordings from 2002, bringing new life to 20 year old songs.

Next up on our mix series is one of our resident DJs, Gerdaze.

Currently residing in Melbourne but originating from Cork, Ireland.

Gerdaze has a love for old-school/ 90s deep house music but also has an ear for the broader ranges of house and other genres. He was bred into the scene from a very young age, getting a set of turntables and a box of house records at the age of 9. From there, religiously listening to the infamous Sir henrys "sweat" mix  tapes and the likes of the  Fish go deep radio podcast set the tone.
Later on attending fish go deep's monthly resident slot in the pavilion nighclub in cork city, which opened the door to discovering house legends like kerri chandler, mood ll swing, ron trent and Omar s, these were some of the artists which influenced the sound that he loves and keeps going back to.
His love for the scene only keeps thriving as the years go on, exploring different sounds in different countries and now experimenting in producing his own music.

Spacewalker moves on a groovy bassline that instantly sets things in motion – driving, warm, and organic. Around it unfold rhythmic elements that act like pulses: sometimes bouncing, sometimes floating, always in dialogue with the depth of the groove.
The pads open vast spaces, as if each bar reveals a new horizon. The interplay between groove and atmosphere creates a pull that pushes forward while at the same time carrying you into the distance.
Spacewalker is a journey in flow: tangible through the bassline, yet carried by a lightness that turns the gaze both inward and outward.
