There and Back Again

This piece is based on the idea of two instruments being played- one playing the flute and standing at a cliff facing the sea [in chinese movies, main protagonists tend to stand at the edge of cliffs and play the flute:)], while the pianist is at the beach facing the sea waves. The poetic music of each instrument bounces back to and fro between them, to the accompaniment of sea waves... 

I'm in the process of learning how to make good sound production, so please forgive any lapse in sound quality. I hope you enjoy this piece, and any feedback/comments are very much welcome :)

Dance of the Flute:Piano (TPC- "Year of the Snake" Challenge)

This piece puts me in the mood to lie on a field of grass, and just watching the clouds go by.... and it also inspires me to stop in my footsteps to admire the beautiful blue sky now and then..

This is composed for the Piano Cloud 4-chord (F-C-G-Am)  Challenge. I haven't been putting as much time as I want to for this piece, because work and everything got in the way... thus it is only a very simple piece... Nevertheless, I hope that it meets the challenge, and I hope that you will enjoy listening to it :)



Watching Clouds Go By (TPC- 4-Chord Challenge)

This is inspired by my trekking experiences in nepal- it was an amazing journey with breathtaking scenes and snow capped mountains soaring about us. It was not without its share of danger and risks (hence the darker sounding section in the middle of the piece). All in all though, a true adventure which was unforgettable :)
