METAPHOR - ALANKARA & JAZZY D - PRANA RECORDS

An epic remake of my favorite classical music piece (Baroque period to be precise) by English composer Henry Purcell. It is an aria from the opera Dido and Aeneas, which happens at the very end. The story follows the romance of Dido, founder, and queen of Carthage, and a Trojan hero Aeneas, who is called upon by Gods to leave Dido to fulfill his purpose as a Roman. Dido is destroyed by grief and sings this song to her servant before her death.
