With UK Techno artist Operator (a.k.a Rich Jones) working the groove via mixer, drum machines and effects, and Dutch stalwart Radial (a.k.a Jeroen Liebregts) conjuring textures and hooks through sampling and manipulating his self-developed modular synthesizer, Aeons At Play is a new and potent musical dialogue between these two Techno veterans. 

Having a combined experience in electronic music production and performance of over 30 years, the pair decided to join forces and venture into the unknown, allowing the listener an insight into their creative process as they build a unique, and entirely improvisational, sonic journey. 

This live show format lets the audience witness ideas being formed, and further developed, on the fly, into concrete and tangible sonic objects. These are then sampled and deconstructed again, allowing the direction of the journey to shift dynamically, with no pre-recorded loops, plan or road map. 
This makes for an effortlessly evolving rhythmic soundscape punctuated with contrasting moments of intense energy and momentum, followed by stripped back, meditative sonic plateaus. Disparate tempos and styles blend seamlessly together, and wherever the two take the journey, however deep, forward motion and dance floor energy always remain key. 

Aeons At Play live shows bring creativity, bold yet nuanced sound design, and confident progression, with the ability to decisively shift gears at striking pace, thanks to the insight into dance floor mechanics these two experts uniquely bring. 
Intense, hypnotic journeys of freeform modern Techno, loaded with energy and groove, but always expressive, organic, textured, and ever evolving. No two sets are ever the same...

A staple of South America’s ever-effervescing techno community, Colombian-born producer Adriana Lopez sure ain’t no stranger to the aficionados of wild four-to-the-floor epics, having delivered the totality of her typical, custom cut bunker-busters on Developer’s Modularz and her own imprint, Grey Report, in about a decade of intense dancefloor activism.

For her first sortie away from her usual recording homes, Adriana steps up in no real unknown territory either, with Stroboscopic Artefacts’ Totem series providing a much suitable shelter for her deep-penetration, quaky club weaponry to grow and expand.

Kicking things off in frontally brutal fashion, the title-track ‘Embera’ sets the mood right away, swallowing us amidst the countless spans and layers of hypno-tech quicksands. With the kinetic energy gauge now set to eleven and kicks thumping their way across a forest of obsessive synth spirals, Adriana then whips up a frenzy of delayed percussions, spaced-out riffs and jammed radar echoes on ‘Saija’, sure to keep the dancers in a state of wilful enslavement.

Opting for a more straightforward, steady-flying angle of attack, the EP’s closer ‘Awa’ tops it all off on an equally abrasive and elegant note, true to Adriana’s trademark mix of groove-making finesse and uplifting potency.
