I am an interdisciplinary artist based in Atlanta and am known by many as Krista M. Jones, but go by Mia Giannini (Mia G) when I create music. As a visual artist I can found doing murals, mixed media painting and graphics...often under the nick name Jonesy. Music is just one of my ways of processing the human experience. Formed in the Sonoran Desert in 2011 and intensified in Peru soon after, Bella Bacchae are opulent punk trance mystics, connected by our love of travel,  ancient cultures of the Mediterranean, "shamanic" spaces,  non-traditional and homemade instruments.
We have been described as "Desert music" and "eccentric" and "kids banging on pots and pans," "trance-inducing" and overall "just really weird."

Live performances are acoustic electronic, we like ceremonial spaces...
