Thabang embarked on his journey in music production in 2013, a pivotal moment in his life, as he transitioned from Stoffberg to Tembisa. This move led him to a fateful encounter with Native Tribe, a renowned figure in the realm of music production. Under Native Tribe's mentorship, Thab De Soul was initiated into the intricate world of music production, setting the stage for his promising career.

Throughout his career, Thab De Soul has collaborated with a distinguished roster of artists, showcasing his exceptional talent and dedication to his craft. Vincenzo Pati. The passion struck me at the age of 14. The dials, switches and blinking lights of hi-fi control panels stirred a curiosity that, soon enough, became amazement as I spun vinyl and funk flowed forth: Archie Bell & the Drells, Average White Band, Brass Construction, Cameo, Colonel Abrams, James Brown, Roy Ayers, Steve Arrington, and others. Soon enough, I realized that music was becoming more than a passion. Gripped by the soul music dubbed Philadelphia sound and, soon thereafter, the wider world of Afro music, it dawned on me that music had become a drug.

I began working in a bank at the age of 23. The drab surroundings, however, never pulled me away from music. I was becoming hooked on house music, at the time a nascent yet quickly rising movement. A close childhood friend, was becoming a DJ and producer of international caliber. Watching him spin vinyl was an inspiration. I also began to follow the impressive work of other international DJs, including Danny Krivit, Frankie Feliciano, Frankie Knuckles, Hed Kandi, Joey Negro, Little Louie Vega, and Miguel Migs. All still work today.

My tastes in music have expanded over the years as I embraced such artists as Erykah Badu, Randy Crawford, Floetry, Michael Jackson, Maxwell, Me'shell Ndegeocello, Raphael Saadiq, Jill Scott, Lisa Shaw, and others. The top-flight producers who have most influenced me include Patrick L. Chappell, Andy Daniell, Simon Dunmore, Jamie Lewis, Victor Simonelli, Soulmagic. From them, I learned that the time to act was approaching. I needed to become a producer, communicating not just with words, gestures, dances and colors, but also by offering to others the gift of new music.

Jeunesse et débuts

Kalix Vanguard est née à Rennes. Il apprend le piano à l'âge de 5 ans, avant d'intégrer sa première école de musique à 13 ans avec un membre du groupe Percubaba de l'époque. A l'âge  de 10 ans, il annonce à son père qu'il veut devenir compositeur de musique électronique : ce dernier lui offre un piano. Parallèlement à ses activités musicales, il continue ses études et obtient son baccalauréat technique et technologique.
2011, il obtient la note de 14/20 à son mémoire de fin d'année de l'E.S.R.A ( Ecole Supérieur de Réalisation Audiovisuelle;
Avec ses techniques de productions et de mixages appris à l' E.S.R.A et de nombreuses vidéos d'apprentissages en M.A.O, il sort ses premier jet , avec "Of the party" et "Pacific Dub" sur Soundcloud, et révèle son identité sonore. Imaginatif et productif il construit ses première track, inspiré par la House music, la musique hiphop, rock, dance et techno des années 80’s 90’s 2000’s des artistes comme Johnny Hallyday, David Hallyday, Michel Berger, J.Jacques Goldman, David Guetta, Coldplay (viva la vida), Daft punk ( random access mémoires), Stromae, Lady gaga, Laurent Wolf, bigflo&Oli, soprano, et bien d’autres artistes ...

Il rêve déjà de voir son public sur la scène et être salué par la critique.
En 2013, il continue d'aborder sa musique de manière collective : il propose en janvier un nouveau morceau en collaboration avec le chanteur Djuka Saion avec le titre "I've Been Waiting", 

En 2020, toujours dans la même vague, il souhaite aussi figuré en bonne place de divers classements des meilleurs titres de l'année et que des magasine le positionne en tête  de leur classement annuel des meilleurs artistes émergents, il est donc à la recherche d'un producteur .
