Stepping up as our penultimate guest mix for the mixtapes of 2022, we have London based duo Collective Groove. 

The boys have been making movements on the scene over the last year or so with their renowned radio show 'That Disco Groove' which has seen them host a stellar roster since its inception.  The shows see's them pick the best new releases from the multiple sub-genres of disco and disco-house followed by an hour long exclusive guest-mix from some of the finest DJ's & Producers on the scene right now

More recently the boys have gone on to host a new show 'A Chance To Dance' where they take a look into the deeper side of their music tase. Seeing them and their guests explore intrinsic deep jazz, dusty house, filtered disco, soulful deep beats, classic house, 4/4 and so much more

Both sides of their musical influences are fully on display throughout this quality 1 hour mix!

This one started out as a mellow and soulful episode, built into some proper funk then ended up being a bit of an extended funk and disco session! Proper fun times. Lots of attempting to mix old stuff together so some slightly rough beatmatching at times, and one occasion where I stopped the wrong deck... whoops!

Our Italian brother, Mauro Vecchi is back with a spectacular episode including a guest mix from Rome based veteran, Massimo Voci.
Massimo Voci has been a DJ and producer for 30 years. He spent his life at Radio Capital (IT) where he produced various radio programs, including his saturday night show "Adventures in a Disco", the daily immersion in the great classics of funky/disco and soul have forged him for his sets and productions. He has his own label, Black Moka Recordings, and his name has appeared in the billboards of Italian and international clubs and festivals (Worldwide Festival by Gilles Peterson in FR / CH edition, Greece's Shapes, Umbria Jazz, Villa Medici, Cavo Fest), and in concerts by giants of music such as that of Genesis at the Circo Massimo, or with the Chic in piazza del popolo in Rome. He teaches at the Master in Radio at the Suor Orsola Benincasa University of Naples. Putting his hands spinning in different genres from disco to house passing through global beats, his sets have no limits! You can find him heating local and international clubs and festivals' dancefloors during the weekends. Born in front of the sea in Calabria, he grew up artistically in Rome, he can't stand still and when he is, he paints.

In hour 2 we have a very special guest, Clint H. Clint has been on our radar for a while now. Clint is an established DJ & radio host.
